USubmit Login Page  This is the login page you will see when you go to usubmit.usbank.com.  The User ID and password will be unique to you.  You can also change your password from this page.

Add this site to your Favorites list.

Main Menu Overview  Pipeline list of USubmit loans, Expiration Dates, App and Lock Status  Best Practice: Click the green Refresh arrow to refresh loan status before taking any action on a file.

Reference # - Once submitted, the U.S. Bank Reference number will display. App Status - Submitting, Submitted, Approved, Declined, Funded, Error * Lock Status - Floating, Locked, Pending Lock, Expired Approval Exp - Date approval is good through *If you receive an Error App Status, you will be contacted by the Help Desk on how to correct and re-submit the application. 4

Current Loans & Advanced Search  Current Loans tab displays the 10 most recently accessed loans  You can search and filter the loans in your Pipeline. You can also add or remove columns and change the order loans are displayed.

Inactive Loans  On the Pipeline tab, choose a file and click the trash can icon to move a file that will not be completed to the Inactive tab.

 On the Inactive Loans tab, choose a file and click the folder icon to move an inactive USubmit file back to the Pipeline tab.

Determine Eligibility  Choose a file with App Status of ‘Not Submitted’ from your pipeline and click Determine Eligibility from the left nav menu.  Review/update file information and click the Next button. USubmit will run eligibility parameters and display Program Eligibility Results.

Price Loan  Select the Price Loan link from the left nav menu to run a loan scenario. Enter basic property and loan information.  The Price Loan function will determine eligibility and display the pricing available for the information provided.

This is not a credit approval.

New Loans: Creating or Importing an Application  If importing an application, choose Yes. A loan that is in DU 3.0 or 3.2 format can be imported by selecting the file and then clicking the Import button. Choosing No gives you a blank 1003 to key in all fields. If the interview date is one business day prior to the upload date, the broker must register the application the same day as their 1003 upload. If the interview date is the same as the upload date, the broker must register the application within 24 hours of the upload date/time.. Portfolio second mortgages (Fixed and HELOC) must be registered in USubmit as a separate application.

New Loans: Importing an Application (cont.)  Once 1003 is imported, click Edit Application to complete required file information and Submit, Determine Eligibility or Return to Pipeline.

Submitting an Application  USubmit will verify fields that need to be completed for submission.

Best Practice: Click Submit first to display all fields that must be completed !

Missing Fields Notification • Boxes outlined in red are required to submit the application. • Once all missing fields are completed, click Submit again.

Rates and Prices  Click on the pricing choice from either the Lender Paid or Borrower Paid Compensation grids. Click Submit to register application with a floating rate or click Lock to register application with rate lock request.

Borrower Authorization  Upload a signed Borrower’s Certification & Authorization form for each borrower. On a joint file, two Browse buttons will be displayed.  Click the Browse button, select the file(s) from your computer and then click the Upload Documents button.

Service Providers  The available Service Providers list displays on the final loan screen. This list can be sorted by clicking the Name, City, State, Zip and Distance titles or a company name can be entered in the Search box.  Select the desired Service Provider by clicking on the entry and click the Continue button to register the application with U.S. Bank.

Registration / Lock Confirmation  Once your file is registered, the Registration / Lock Confirmation will display.  Click Create Submission Docs to create an Anti Steering Certification.

Create Anti-Steering Certification  Complete required fields and click Create Document. Click printer icon to save or print.

USubmit Upload Documents  Documents can be uploaded in USubmit and delivered to U.S. Bank Home Mortgage Wholesale Division for review.  Click the Upload icon for the loan or highlight the loan and click Upload Documents in the left nav menu.

Available for App Status of Submitted, Approved, Final Approved and Declined.

USubmit Upload Documents  A Document Upload window will open allowing you to browse your desktop for the applicable file conditions to upload.



Internet browser versions which support multi-file selection include: Internet Explorer 10.0, Firefox 3.6, Chrome 6.0, Safari 5.0 and Opera 11.0 (including newer versions of each).

GIF and BMP file types are not supported. Maximum combined upload file size cannot exceed 25 Megabytes (mb).

Online Rate Locks (Submitted applications)  Click padlock to advance to the Rates & Pricing screen. Cursor held over padlock provides definition of each Lock Status icon.  Click on the pricing choice from either the Lender Paid or Borrower Paid Compensation grids.  Click Lock to submit the lock request to U.S. Bank.

Process Flow  File is registered in USubmit & assigned a U.S. Bank Reference number.  Once you receive the Credit Decision and Underwriting Conditions List, email the conditions to [email protected] or upload using the USubmit Upload Documents link.  If your application submission is incomplete for any reason, we will contact you.  Online rate lock requests can be submitted in USubmit at any time prior to Final Underwriting Approval.
