Workwear Depot focuses on three aspects of knowledge and training: product knowledge, customer service and providing unique workwear solutions.

This sounds impossible, but it’s not. Every Workwear Depot has its own embroidery and reflective tape application facility. By selecting a combination of colours from our extensive range of products and applying your own logo or message, you create a unique uniform without the hassles. You don’t need to find someone to design or manufacture your uniform, you don’t have any lead time and you don’t have to hold excess stock. There is no minimum order quantity and you will have consistency in quality, fabric, colour and design.

While Workwear Depot has only been around for three years, we have been joined by some great people who have extensive industry experience and great product knowledge. However learning never stops. All our team members are exposed to on going product training by our suppliers and our own experienced people, and if we don’t have the answer to your question, we know how to get it. We believe customer service starts with the small things that are often over looked, like a friendly greeting for anyone visiting our stores. The acid resist finish is a water resistant finish that is not destroyed by the action of acids or other chemicals. It prevents the fabric from being moistened by the acids, thus making it “acid resistant”. The finish is permanent and should not lose its efficacy after many washes, however the washing procedure must include a thorough rinsing to remove any wetting agents, followed by a hot ironing to regenerate the finishes effect.

When choosing the right hearing protection it’s crucial that the right kind of protection for noise levels in your workplace is provided. Selecting the right protection means more than choosing an ear plug/ear muff, with the right SNR it means finding the protection that is comfortable and appropriate for the intended hazard. When noise is too loud, it begins to kill the nerve endings in the inner ear. Prolonged exposure to loud noise destroys nerve endings. As the number of nerve endings decreases, so does your hearing. There is no way to restore life to dead nerve endings; the damage is permanent.

The longer you are exposed to a loud noise, the more damaging it may be. In addition, the closer you are to the source of intense noise, the more damaging it is. Hearing protectors come in two forms, earplugs and earmuffs: Earplugs are small inserts that fit into the outer ear canal and are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit individual ear canals. Earmuffs fit over the entire outer ear to form an air seal so the entire circumference of the ear canal is blocked, they are held in place by an adjustable band.
