The Summer Picnic will be held on Sunday July 31st, attached to last months and this months (pg. 14) newsletter is a form to be filled out so that we can get a good headcount of the people planning on attending and we can plan correctly for the amount of food we will need. In the past this has been a hit or miss proposition and we would like to get a better count of people and food so that we don’t end up wasting food due to over purchasing. The form can either be mailed to Bob Breckler (address on the form) or can be brought to the July 18th Meeting , we ask that you have them to Bob no later than July 24th as we will begin purchasing the food items. This months fun fly will held on Sunday July 17th at 10:00am, as always come prepared for anything. ~

FOR SALE Cont. These are the Planes that Ray Lanning has for sale, Ray writes “ I need to move these from my friends wharehouse so that’s the reason for the cheap prices, If anyone is interested please call me Canadian Air $300 Firm Wing Span: 2050mm ----80.7 inch Fuselage length: 1476mm -----58.1 Inches Wing Area: 63sq dm Flying Weight: 4540g Link to an expired ebay listing with photo's and a video..http:// www.ebay.com.au/itm/radio-control-canadair-cl-415-arf-rc-plane-model/170482834716 I put 2 .60 size electric motors on it and used 2 6S 5000Mah batteries to power it and it also balances it perfectly. It has Landing gear on it so you can use the runway. It also has a Spectrum RX which I want back or you can buy it for $75.00 I'm pretty sure it has an 8 channel AR8000RX I have about $700 into it. It has only been flown 2-3 times at the field before I moved away. I took the floats off the wing tips and have them somewhere but not sure where at the moment so the plane may or may not come with come with these. Excellent Condition!!!! Top Flight Cessna Skylane 182 his Gold Edition ARF $350 Firm Link to plane Specs- Pictures and video http://www.top-flite.com/airplanes/ topa0906.html This has been flown 3 times and needs minor repairs. One of the aileron where the horn attaches is stripped out and the horn needs to be moved over to the next slot. When I put the fuel lines in the frame behind the cowl I didn't add a layer of wood to reinforce it so it pushed through so it need minor repair. Also when we maidened the plane the ailerons were reversed and on take off it flipped on its back and took the light that sits on the rudder off. It has a brand new OS 91 4-stroke and I put lights behind the dash so it lights up. I have over $1000 into this plane. Black Horse T-28 $200 Firm This plane is in excellent condition except I got a glue drip on the windshield,It has only been maidened once. It had a loose tension spring on the fuel adjust screw so I put a plastic tie strop around it to make it tighter but haven't tried it yet, The mixture screw was moving during flight and since I put the tie strap on I never got a chance to fly it again before I moved. Should be an easy fix. 'm almost positive it has a OS 71 4-stroke on it New of course. I would like the RX out of this plane un less you have a Spectrum radio and we can figure a fair price depending on which Rx is in there. I think it has an AR8000. PT 19 88 Inch $300 Firm It has a new PTE 36 Gas Engine on it and only flew 3-4 times before one of the landing gear legs broke. It wasn't because of a hard landing it was a flaw in the wire. It broke right where there was a seam. Very strange indeed and I can explain when I talk to you. This engine is probably a little big for this plane as it was really moving very fast although I was going to leave it I didn't mind it but a DLE 20 would be perfect for this plane. I think I ruined both windshield when I was building it so they are not there Other then that it is in excellent condition. I want the RX
