WRAPPING TUTORIAL

Here are some ideas for how to get creative with your MUJI wrapping materials. Personalise your gift wrap at the MUJI stamp table, and make your gift truly one-of-a-kind.

SMALL ITEM GIFT BAG

01. Choose a pattern stamp from the stamp set, and repeat it over the front of the gift bag. 02. Use the large stamp to add the flag pattern near the top of the gift bag. 03. Put in the gifts into the bag, and fold it about 1cm from the top. 04. Tape the fold closed.

GIFT BAG WITH RIBBON HANDLE

CYLINDRICAL GIFT CONTAINER

02. Wrap the bottom of the gift box, securing it with double-sided tape.

Repeat until the whole container is covered with the tape.

03. Flatten the remaining length of wrapping paper at the top of the gift box.

02. Using a penknife, slit the tape where the container opens, going around the entire container.

04. Cut an arm’s length of ribbon and place it about 1cm from the top of the wrapping paper.

03. Measure the diameter of the container, and cut out a circle with the same diameter from a piece of patterned origami paper.

05. Fold the wrapping paper over the ribbon, repeating until it can no longer be folded. Then, tie the ends of the ribbon into a bow.

04. Paste this paper on the cover of the container.

01. Wrap the sides of the gift with the brown wrapping paper.

01. Choose a few patterned tapes, and paste them strip by strip on the gift container lengthwise.
