W E DNE S DAY 1 4 S E P TE MBE R 2 0 1 6 | 7 :4 5 P M Ahead of your trip to see Leicester City take on Club Brugge in the first Group Stage fixture of the UEFA Champions League, the Club have produced this guide which covers all the important information – from local laws, travel and ticket information and ground regulations at Jan Breydel Stadium. Supporters are encouraged to carefully read each section to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable trip.

There is no specific hub for Leicester City fans to congregate, the whole City Centre is open to Leicester City fans with the police wishing to promote a relaxed atmosphere. Leicester City supporters are reminded every Belgian police officer is armed and the city is on HIGH alert due to the current terrorist threat. Fans who DO NOT have a ticket for the fixture are strongly advised not to travel to Bruges.

Belgian Law: Belgium police have the ability to detain persons for up to 12 hours for minor offences, before a person is released back into the community with a form of caution/warning, such offences include: - Not being in possession of ID (UK Passport) when in a public place - Being drunk in a public place - Being involved / causing minor disorders/fights - General public disorder including shouting and abusing people The police powers which can see them detain supporters for up to 12 hours extends to causing a nuisance at the stadium, which includes: - Attempting to enter the stadium when not in possession of a ticket - Disorderly behaviour in the search queues - Attempting to enter the stadium while in possession of weapons and or pyrotechnic (fireworks/flares). Supporters are strongly reminded that more serious offences can lead to an arrest and full entry into the Belgium criminal justice system and all of the protection that being a European citizen currently brings with this, such as access to consular representation etc. Travelling to Jan Breydel Stadium: The journey to the Jan Breydel Stadium takes at least 50 minutes, and supporters are strongly advised to join the police escorted walk which will leave from Grote Markt. Fans must congregate at Grote Markt by 6pm (local time) for the escorted walk. At Jan Breydel Stadium: There will be NO ALCOHOL available to any supporter within the Jan Breydel Stadium or within the concession park. Kiosks will serve soft-drinks and food only. Kiosks within the ground and concession park are cash only. Once entering the footprint of the ground, supporters will be subject to a number of searches. Supporters are reminded they must have their tickets and valid ID with them. Any supporter without a valid ticket and ID will not be allowed into the stadium and will be detained by police Anyone attempting to enter the stadium with fireworks, smoke bombs or marine flares will be arrested and detained in Belgium. NO bags will be allowed into the stadium under any circumstances Leicester City supporters will be grouped in sections 121, 421 and 422 in the upper tier of the South East quadrant. The seating area is unprotected and supporters are advised to ensure they have the correct clothing for the weather conditions. Supporters with disabilities will be located in the lower section of the stand, at pitch level. Ground Regulations: Items banned from Jan Breydel Stadium include, but are not limited to: - Alcoholic Drinks - Fireworks - Sprays - Objects with sharp points - Sticks - Toilet Paper / Paper Objects Throwing objects and beverages within Jan Breydel Stadium is prohibited. Flags are allowed into the ground, if they refer to Leicester City and are not derogatory. The flag must be fixed onto tubular poles and manipulated by one person. Flags and banners cannot be placed onto the fences within the ground. Musical instruments are allowed into the stadium and the owner of the instrument must be registered before entering the ground. ALL supporters must remain in their section until police give the stewards permission to release supporters. Travelling from Jan Breydel Stadium: Ahead of the fixture, the Club strongly advise supporters to ensure they have arranged transport and travel for after the game, because: - There is NO Eurostar after the fixture - There is extremely limited public transport, including taxis - The walk back from Jan Breydel Stadium to the centre of Brugge will be along the same route as the police escort prior to the game. This is a 50-minute walk and will be without a police escort

TICKETS & TRAVEL: Ticket Collection Point: Martin’s Hotel Brugge, Oude Burg 5, 8000 Brugge, Belgium. At the venue, four outlets will distribute tickets to supporters and these points will be managed by official Leicester City staff. Supporters are advised to arrive at the ticket collection point as early as possible to avoid delays, as there will be no opportunity to collect tickets once the facility is closed. Ticket collection points will be open 9am until 4pm (local time) When collecting tickets, supporters will be required to present the passport they have used to travel and their redeemable ticket voucher in order to collect their actual match ticket. Please note, all Champions League match tickets will be sold to individual Season Ticket Holders using their unique supporter numbers and must be collected in person by the respective Season Ticket Holder - this includes all concessions and companions. We will only issue match tickets to the individuals that they have been allocated to. Should the name on the voucher and the passport not match, you will not be issued with a match ticket. Other forms of ID and photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances. Supporters who have already arranged travel and will not arrive in Bruges by that time must email [email protected] by 11am on Monday 12 September in order to arrange alternative collections. Martin’s Hotel Brugge is roughly a two minute walk from the main market square where Leicester City fans travelling by coaches will be dropped off. Getting to Martin’s Hotel Brugge from Ostend-Bruge International Airport:

If driving the quickest route is along the A10, and will take roughly 40 minutes. Alternatively, Martin’s Hotel Brugge can be reached via a buses and a train. The quickest way from Ostend-Bruge International Airport to Martin’s Hotel Brugge by car is to follow the directions below: - Take Duinkerkseweg/N341, Torhoutsesteenweg/N33 and Elisabethlaan/R31 to A10 and follow the road for 5.9km - Follow A10 and E40 to Koning Albert I-Iaan/N397 in Zedelgem for 19.4km and then take exit 7-Loppem for E40 - Continue on Koning Albert I-Iaan for 6.5km before driving to Oude Burg in Brugge To travel from Ostend-Bruge International Airport to Martin’s Hotel Brugge by train, follow the directions below: - Walk from Ostend-Bruge International Airport to Raversijde Luchthaven - Catch the number 6 train Luchthaven to Raversijde-Oostende Station. Stay on the train for 17 stops - Get off the train at Oostende Station and walk for roughly 5 minutes to Oostende - Catch the IC Train 1811 to Antwerpen-Central and stay on it for 15 minutes until you get into Brugge - In Brugge, disembark the IC Train 1811 and walk to Brugge Station Perron 1, roughly a one minute walk. Catch the number 16 train for Station – Centrum (Dijver) – St Kruis (Dampoortkwartier) and stay on the train for four stops - Disembark the train at Brugge Dijver and walk for roughly 190m

Getting From Martin’s Hotel Brugge to Club Brugge Stadium (Jan Breydel Stadium): The journey to the Jan Breydel Stadium takes at least 50 minutes on foot, and Belgian police will provide an escorted walk from Grote Markt, with illuminated signs highlighting the gathering points. Fans must congregate at 6pm local time at Grote Markt for the escorted walk. For supporters who wish to make their own way to the stadium, directions can be found below:

Walking: To get from Martin’s Hotel Brugge to Club Brugge’s stadium (Jan Breydel Stadium), is a 4.1 km walk via Gistelsesteenweg, which will take roughly 50 minutes. The quickest way to walk from Martin’s Hotel Brugge to Club Brugge is to follow the directions below: - Walk south-west on Steenstraat towards Kemelstraat for 150m - Continue onto Zuidzandstraat for 220m - Turn left onto Het Zand and follow the road for 130m - Turn right towards Koning Albert I-laan/R30 and follow the road for 400m, before taking a sharp right towards Koning Albert I-laan/R30 and following the road for 31m - Turn left onto Koning Albert I-laan/R30 - At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Koning Albert I-laan/N397 before continuing onto the Koning Albert I-laan for 750m - At the roundabout, continue straight to stay on Koning Albert I-laan for 850m - At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Kon. Astridlaan - Go through 1 roundabout - At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Koning Leopold III-laan - Turn left onto Doornstraat - Turn right and follow the road for 63m before taking the next right - Turn right and you’ll reach the carpark where the supporter coaches will be parked. Within this area will be a concessions park for away supporters.

Train: Supporters can reach Club Brugge’s stadium via train, which needs to be caught at Brugge Hoefijzer. The journey will take between 30 and 40 minutes. From Martin’s Hotel Brugge, walk to Brugge Hoefijzer which takes roughly 15 minutes, before getting on train number 5 destined for Centrum (Stadsschouwburg) - Station -St.-Andries (Hermitage), get off at Sint-Andries Kerk and walk the remaining 450m to Jan Breydel Stadium.

Car: Travelling from Martin’s Hotel Brugge to Jan Breydel Stadium will take roughly 20 minutes via R30, following the directions below: - Take Garenmarkt and Gentpoortstraat to Buiten Gentpoortvest/R30 and continue for 1km - Drive along Koning Albert I-laan, Kon. Astridlaan and Koning Leopold III-laan for 5.4km, and you’ll then reach Jan Breydel Stadium Bus: Bus 25 will be available to transfer small numbers of supporters to the stadium, although these journeys are infrequent and subject to traffic. Fans are advised to refrain from using Bus 5 and Bus 15 as these journeys take the scenic route and are quite lengthy.

AT JAN BREYDEL STADIUM: - Leicester City supporters will be grouped in sections 121, 421 and 422 in the upper tier of the South East quadrant. Entrance will be through designated turnstiles. Please note, the area Leicester City supporters are seated in is open to the elements; correct attire must be considered. Supporters with disabilities will be located in the lower section of the stand at pitch level. Concessions within the away section are cash only, kiosks will provide soft drinks and food pre-match and at half time. Only food and drinks purchased in the ground are allowed into the stands. Everyone who enters the stadium will be subject to a body search and any form of bag will NOT be allowed into the ground. Valid ID (passport) is required to support a valid ticket. Anyone without valid ID will not be allowed access to Jan Breydel Stadium and will be detained by local police. Anyone attempting to enter Jan Breydel Stadium with fireworks, smoke bombs or marine flares will be arrested and detained in Belgium.
