2015 Student Vice President Leadership Summit General Information and Application Guidelines Dear Phi Kappa Phi Student Vice Presidents, As a Student Vice President for The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi on your campus, we would like to offer you an opportunity to participate in the Phi Kappa Phi Student Vice President Leadership Summit. The Student Vice President Leadership Summit brings Student Vice Presidents together over the course of a weekend to engage in fun and interactive activities geared toward leadership development. Seminars will be led by Collegiate EmPowerment that will focus on equipping the individual leader, becoming a more successful leader and making future leaders better. Participants will also learn about strategies for operating and maintaining active chapters of Phi Kappa Phi. Participants will leave the Summit with valuable skills for personal growth and enhanced chapter leadership. The 2015 Student Vice President Leadership Summit will be held July 30-August 2, at the Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort in Salt Lake City, Utah. Applications for this outstanding leadership opportunity will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until May 15, 2015. Nominations will be limited to one Student Vice President per chapter. Space is limited, so please apply early. As a Leadership Summit participant you will have the opportunity to: Bolster your leadership skills Enhance your resume Network with other student vice presidents Make a difference in your chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Each chapter will be responsible to cover a $200 non-refundable registration fee to send a Student Vice President to the Summit. Travel, meals at the Summit, and double-occupancy accommodations will be arranged by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. In order to be considered for the Student Vice President Leadership Summit, applicants must be: A current Phi Kappa Phi Student Vice President An active member of the Society (dues paid) Returning to campus as a full-time student for the Fall 2015 semester Nominated by your local chapter ( limited to one per chapter) What we need from you: Completed application and one-page résumé (with current contact information) What we need from your chapter: Letter or email of nomination from your local Phi Kappa Phi chapter president stating why you should be considered A completed Chapter Registration Form and $200 non-refundable payment Students should email the completed application and résumé to [email protected] with the subject line “Student VP Leadership Summit” by May 15, 2015. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours, or if you have questions, please contact Kay White, Chapter Development Director, at 1.800.804.9880, extension 212.
