TRADITIONS at The PrivateBank

Published by The PrivateBank for Traditions Club

DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE Carol Moskal Club Director “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” -F. Scott Fitzgerald Here at Traditions, a new season means new destinations and new discoveries. We have something for everyone with a variety of trips to the theatre, casinos, dining, museums and even a mystery. We’ll celebrate the holidays of the coming season by spending a winter evening at “Illuminations,” the spectacular synchronized light display at the Morton Arboretum. For Valentine’s Day, it’s all about chocolate, so join us on a special tour to celebrate all things chocolate before experiencing one of the hottest new trends, an art class complete with wine to bring out your creative spirits. Although this newsletter normally covers only the day excursions through March, we couldn’t wait to get the news to you about two exciting theatrical offerings coming up in May. The first is Walt Disney’s Aladdin, a Tony award winner. The second event, My Fair Lady at the Lyric Opera, promises to be a grandscale production with colorful costumes and many favorite tunes. Mark your calendars with new dates and changes in location for our ever-popular monthly movies. We have made some changes and are also expanding this event to our Orland Park location. The Worth/Mt. Greenwood area movies will now be on a Monday, while the movie at the Orland Park location will be shown on Wednesday. For our Joliet area members, the movie day will remain on Saturday, however the movie location has been changed from Minooka to the Channahon location. Please refer to the “movie” section of the newsletter for the dates for each month. By the end of January, most of us are looking for someplace warm and sunny. We have that escape planned for you with a trip to San Diego and Palm Springs. We hope the new tours and events will encourage you to get out and enjoy life. Remember, when you travel with Traditions there’s no need to stress over planning, checking maps or making reservations. Just pack your bags and be ready to make new friends and enjoy. We hope to see you at a Traditions event or tour soon.
