Dear John Williams River Cruise Participant, Thank you for joining us on this very special adventure. It is sure to be a trip filled with enchanting architecture, cultural treasures, and the marvelous company of our fellow WGN listeners! It is important to note that this trip is distinctly different than anything Kelly Cruises & Tours has offered in the past, and thus we ask you to carefully read and understand the deposit, change fees and final payment terms as well as cancellation penalties that apply. Ship charters, be it partial or full ship, do not adhere to the same Terms and Conditions as seen in the brochures and online – there are important differences, and we have listed these differences below: John Williams WGN Radio River Cruise on the AmaSerena sailing 10/16/2016 Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total package is due to hold a stateroom on this sailing. Clients MUST sign and return this form, along with a credit card form authorizing the charge BEFORE a cabin can be assigned. Final Payment: The final payment for the cruise and land package will be due 190 days prior to departure on April 9, 2016. Cancellation fees are as follows: More than 9 months (270 days) prior to departure: $200 per person + any fees on air tickets booked through AmaWaterways air department. Between 9 months (270 days) and 6 months (180 days) prior to departure: 50% of cruise and land charge + any fees on airline tickets issued by AmaWaterways air department. Between 6 months (180 days) and trip departure: 100% penalty on all cruise and land tours + any fees on airline tickets issued by AmaWaterways air department. The exact cancellation fees will be determined by AmaWaterways in November 2015. What If I can only do the 7 night cruise? If you are unable to enjoy the 2 night post cruise transfer and hotel stay in Prague, you will receive a $100 credit per person towards the package. I don’t see pricing on the airfare…what is the cost? Airfare will be available to purchase through AMA Waterways at 11 months prior to departure. It will include your transfers from the airport to the ship and from the ship to the hotel, and hotel to the pier. Call or email us. We expect to have good flights at a reasonable fare. I’m thinking of doing my own air – is this possible? Of course! Please keep your Kelly Cruises specialist up to date on your plans. If I do my own air, can I still purchase transfers? Yes, but the final cost won’t be available until approximately 6 months prior to sailing, and will depend on the number of additional passengers sharing the transportation. Can I add on additional nights at the beginning or the end? Absolutely! The cost for one night in Budapest is $257 per person, and the cost for an additional night in Prague is $160 per person (rates based on double occupancy). What isn’t included? Not much! Massage and hair salon services, as well as several optional tours on the ship are not included. Cocktails (spirits) are not included but unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks are included during lunch and dinner. Meals and items of a personal nature are not included on your hotel stay in Prague or Budapest.
