NORTH PIKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Kindergarten Supply List 2012 – 2013

Listed below are kindergarten supplies each student needs to bring to orientation in August. Your child needs to bring the following items (labeled with name) on the first day of school. 1 - 20 in. X 46 in. regular KINDER MAT brand rest mat. (NO JUMBO size mats accepted due to space limitations. NO pillows or blankets.) 1 – mat cover ( A king size pillow case fits perfectly.) 1 – back pack (Rolling back packs are NOT allowed. They are to big for our cubbies.) 2 – packs Crayola 8 or 12 count twistable crayons 1 -box Crayola washable markers 2 - bottles of white Elmer’s glue (please do not send colored glue, glitter glue or gel glue) 10 - Elmer’s glue sticks 1 - heavy duty zipper pouch (Needs to be able to hold scissors, crayon, glue and pencils.) 2 - boxes of Kleenex 2 - big rolls of paper towels 2 – 12oz. Germ-X Boys- 1 large container of Clorox wipes and 1 box of Gallon size Ziploc bags Girls- 1 tub of wet wipes and 1 box of quart size Ziploc bags Workbook fees are $20.00. Please have your child’s supplies and workbook fees at school by August 6th, 2012.

North Pike Elementary School Second Grade Supply List 2012-2013 Your child will need the following supplies for second grade: 3 one-subject wide ruled (not college ruled) spiral notebooks 2 packs wide ruledlooseleaf paper (not college ruled) 1 pack ONE-COLORED construction paper (BOYS ONLY) 1 pack white copy paper (GIRLS ONLY) 3 boxes at least 24 count crayons (no sparkle, neon, or jumbo) 1 pair Fiskar brand metal scissors 1 bottle Elmer’s glue 1 heavy-duty zippered pencil/supply pouch with 3-holes (not a plastic school box) 4 Pink Pearl erasers (pink rectangle eraser) 2 packs of 24 count pencils (Please send only Ticonderoga pencils) 3 boxes Kleenex 1 roll paper towels 1 container of Clorox wipes 1 box quart-size Ziploc bags (GIRLS ONLY) 1 box gallon-size Ziploc bags (BOYS ONLY) 2 bottles germ-x 1 pack COLORED Expo dry erase markers 1 desk bag (Check with your teacher at the beginning of school. Gold, and Papermate brands are good pencils, please DO NOT BUY DIXON brand pencils or mechanical pencils)

1 1—inch binder 1 roll paper towels 3 large boxes of Kleenex 1 LARGE bottle of Germ-x 1 pair of Fiskars scissors 1 bottle of school glue 2 boxes of crayons (16 to 24 count) 1 school box (large enough to hold glue, scissors, crayons, pencils) 2 PLASTIC folders with pockets (no prongs) boys bring 1 box of QUART-SIZE Ziplock bags girls bring 1 box of GALLON-SIZE Ziplock bags 1 pack of dry erase markers 1 desk bag (check with your child’s teacher when school starts, some teachers do not require them) LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH PERMANENT MARKER.
