It was here that originally elephants were trained for Dasara celebrations. Here you can simply spend hours just watching elephants, their walk, their play, their fury and just about anything. DAY 10

Overnight at the Hotel COORG TO WAYANAD After breakfast drive to Wayanad. On arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit Kuruva Island. The wooded stretch of land is home to rare species of birds, orchids and herbs is an ideal picnic spot. Proceed for Tholpetty wild life sanctuary. You can find here spotted deer, elephants, bison, leopard, and tiger etc. evening drive back to Vythiri.

DAY 11

Overnight at the Hotel. AT WAYANAD After your breakfast proceed for a Trekking tour to Edakkal caves. The two caves are located at a height of 100 mtrs on Ambukutty Mala near Ambalavayal. The new stone age pictoriat writings on the walls of these natural caves at Edakkal are evidence of the civilazation that existed in these regions in pre-historic times. The caves can be accessed only by a 1 km trekking trail from Edakkal. Have lunch at Edakkal Hermitage- a living complex different from the usual run of tourist hotels and resorts. Afternoon Pookot Lake, a perennial fresh water lake nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating facilities, a Children’s park, a handicrafts and spices emporium and fresh water Aquarium are among the tourist facilities available here.

DAY 12

Overnight at the Hotel. WAYANAD TO CALICUT After the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Calicut enroute visit to Soochipara Waterfalls with a three step waterfall, more than 200 meters in height framed by enchanting scenery. This region is ideal for rock climbing. Visit includes Spice Plantations. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later proceed to sight seeing tour. Your visit includes Kappad Beach is called historic beach. Vasco de Gama, the Portuguese navigator landed here on 20th May 1498 with 170 sailors,Pazhassi Raja Museum & Art Gallery and Krishna Menon Museum. Copies of ancient mural paintings, antique bronzes and old coins are on display on all days except Monday and National Holidays. CVN Kalari Centre. Kalaripayattu, Kerala's martial art is performed at this centre. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 13

DEPART FROM CALICUT BY FLIGHT OR TRAIN After the breakfast at the hotel, Rest of the day free for you till you are transferred to Airport or Railway Station for your onward destination
