Upon arrival at beautiful Cochin airport our representative will greet you at the exit gate of the Airport terminal building. He will arrange your transfer to Munnar a beautiful hill station. From Cochin Airport to Munnar is a 4 hour scenic/picturesque drive. Munnar hills is situated at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 Ft above sea level. and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. This beautiful hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Day 02

Munnar Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast proceed to enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Madupetty Dam/Lake, Eco Point, Gundala lake, Photo point. Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park – famous for nilgiri Tahr (Wild goat), Anaimudi Peak – Souh India’s Highest Peak, Tata Tea Museum, International Blossom (Hydel) Park, Pothamedu Sunset View. These hills, covered with 'patha grass' are breathtakingly beautiful and most suited for trekking and rock climbing. The vast tea gardens, coffee plantations and cardamom planted woodlands unfold before the climber a soul-filling sight he will never forget In the evening enjoy the cultural programs/bonfire parties in hotel. Day 03

Munnar to Thekkady (100 kms – 2 hours)

Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady, set in the heart of the cardamom hills of Kerala. A scenic journey past mist capped mountains, spice plantations, and open grasslands lined with spectacular waterfalls & delightful trekking trails from the access to your hide way here. On arrival check into hotel, refresh yourself & be relaxed. Later proceed to enjoy half day sightseeing tour of Thekkady. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are the herds of wild elephants that come down to the play in the lake. A boat safari (Optional) on the Periyar Tiger Reserve extends a lifetime’s chance to spot exotic various wildlife’s in its natural habitat. Later visit to Spice Plantation. Day 04

Thekkady to Kumarakom (153 kms – 5 hours)

After early breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to Kumarkom. Kumarakom is a serenely beautiful and scenic backwater destination, a charming peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake that is dotted with plenty of traditional rice boats and canoes, leaving a scene that is immensely pleasing to the eye. Day: 05: Kumarakom to Kovalam (150 kms – 3 hours) Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel. Proceed to Kovlam. Kovlam truly capture the essence of Kerala. Kovalam offers breathtaking backwaters, lush landscapes, coconut palms and pristine beaches. Evening visit the Padmanabha Swami Temple at Trivandrum - Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is one of the most famous Lord Vishnu Temples in Kerala, South India. Also known as Sree Ananda Padmanabhaswamy Temple, this Mahavishnu Temple is located inside East Fort, in Thiruvananthapuram - the capital city of Kerala, India. Lord Vishnu is enshrined here in the Anananthasayanam posture (in eternal sleep of yognidra), lying on Sri Anantha, the hooded snake. Overnight at Kovlam.

Day 06

Kovlam

Mornings after breakfast visit the Kovlam beaches, and local sightseeing. Kovalam" means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. The crescent-shaped beach has three parts. The southern most beach, and the most popular, is light house beach. It offers an amazing sight of Vizhinjam mosque. The northern Samudra is a laidback one and time seems stands still here. The middle, hawah, in the early day, is a beehive of activities with fishermen setting out for sea. With a high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlit nights. Evening free for independents activities. Overnight at Kovlam.

Kovlam to Trivandrum
