Harrison Stadium User Manual

In 2008, the citizens of the greater Oroville area passed a $12 million bond initiative known as Measure G. The purpose of Measure G was to remodel and upgrade the Harrison Stadium Sports Complex, which included a synthetic all weather track, football/soccer field, paved parking, bleachers, disabled access, press box, bathrooms, landscaping, irrigation, scoreboard and lights. All remaining bond proceeds were used to improve the athletic facilities at Las Plumas High School and Oroville High School. None of the funds could be used on administrator salaries. A Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee was formed to ensure that funds were spent appropriately. The Harrison Stadium renovation was completed in 2011, as a result of many citizens working together to provide the children of Oroville a place to practice and showcase their athletic talents. The purpose of this manual is to ensure that Harrison Stadium remains in pristine condition for years to come. Respectfully,

Dr. Corey Willenberg, Superintendent Oroville Union High School District
