COURSE OVERVIEW: This three-day seminar is essential for anyone involved in pipeline operation, maintenance, design, inspection and installation, and provides an in-depth review of the design, construction, inspection, operation, maintenance and integrity management requirements of oil and gas pipelines systems including associated pump and compressor stations. Focusing on the general requirements of oil and gas pipelines with a review of the CSA Z662-07 – Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems, this training program covers all relevant clauses as well as auditing to the standard during the phases from design through to abandonment.

This one day course is intended to provide participants with a working knowledge of CSA Z662’s requirements for the qualification of welding procedures. The course is designed for pipeline engineers, technologists, inspectors or other professionals who require a working knowledge of various pipeline welding and construction techniques as well inspection/ leak detection procedures for production welds. Also included are practical instruction regarding joining, repairs/ maintenance welding, the use of pressure equipment, and applications around sour service environments.

This one day course is intended to provide participants with a working knowledge of Clause 13 of the CSA Z662-07 relating to fibre-reinforced composite piping. Applicable reference includes the design, materials, installation, repairs, operation, and maintenance of free-standing composite nonmetallic pipelines, polyethylene pipelines, and plastic (e.g., high-density polyethylene) pipeline liners.
