Our 93 stylishly decorated rooms and 15 studios invite you to come take a journey with us through the golden years of the 50s and 60s. The hotel’s retro style celebrates the forms and colours of the era and combines simple yet elegantly formed wooden furniture and textiles with graphical designs. What was important here wasn’t necessarily to create a copy of that era’s furnishings, but more so to create a skilful mix of classic and timeless design. Die Zusammenführung von Historie und Neuzeit, gekonnt ergänzt um alte Form- und Stilelemente spiegeln sich in der Architektur sowie im Interieur wider. Eine Besonderheit in den Zimmern ist die Erinnerung an die Automobilgeschichte jener Zeit – durch die großflächigen Darstellungen des legendären Karmann Ghia und weiteren Klassikern. Gerade Osnabrück wurde durch die Produktion dieses Luxusautos geprägt. Der erste Karmann Ghia wurde 1955 der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt und steht daher symbolisch für diese Epoche. So bunt und lebensfroh die 50er und 60er Jahre waren, so sind auch die 108 Zimmer und Studios. Zwischen 20 und 36 m² groß, verfügen alle Zimmer über den entsprechenden Komfort, den ein moderner Reisender heute erwartet.

The combination of history with modern times – perfectly complemented through old forms and stylistic elements – is wonderfully reflected in the architecture as well as in the interiors. One special feature of the rooms is that they feature reminders of the region‘s automotive history with large-scale depictions of the legendary Karmann Ghia and other vintage cars. The city of Osnabrück, in particular, was defined by the manufacture of this luxury car. The first Karmann Ghia was presented to the public in 1955 and therefore is symbolic for this era. As colourful and lively as the 1950s and 1960s were, the same is true for our 108 rooms and studios. Ranging in size from 20 m2 to 36 m2, all rooms feature a level of comfort that today‘s traveller expects.

Besonders für die junge Generation war der musikalische Zeitgeist des Rock’n’Roll, des Swings, Twist und des neuen deutschen Schlagers bestimmend und wurde für viele zur Lebensphilosophie. Diese neue Leichtigkeit steht Pate für alle Bereiche des Lebens, auch im Essen und Trinken.

In particular, for the younger generation, the musical zeitgeist of rock and roll, swing music, the twist and the new German pop music defined a way of life for many. This new effortlessness was representative for all areas of life – and is reflected in the beverages and cuisine.

Die Speisekarte bietet neben den Klassikern der 50er und 60er Jahre, wie Toast-Hawaii und Fürst-Pückler-Eis, das Beste von heute. Die Getränkekarte finalisiert das Konzept. Hier finden Sie unter anderen klassischen Softdrinks, eine große Auswahl an Craft Bieren und leckere Weine, deren Namen und Geschmack mit Sicherheit in Erinnerung bleiben. Der klassische Martini – Gin und Vermuth mit einer Olive gehören ebenfalls zum Angebot. Im Wirtschaftswunder begrüßt Sie das Team zum Frühstück und am Abend ab 18.00 Uhr.

The menu offers classic entrées from the 1950s and 1960s, such as Toast Hawaii and Fürst-Rückler ice cream, the best of today. The beverage menu finalises the concept. Here you‘ll find classic soft drinks, a large selection of craft beers and delicious wines, the names and tastes will certainly be retained as a positive memory. The classic Martini – Gin and Vermouth served with an olive – is also part of the offer. In the Wirtschaftswunder restaurant, the team will greet you for breakfast; dinner is served beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Anfahrtsbeschreibung: Richtung Dortmund/Münster und Amsterdam/Rheine ab dem Kreuz Lotte/Osnabrück über die A30 Richtung Osnabrück. Verlassen Sie die A30 an der Ausfahrt Osnabrück-Hellern/ Mitte und fahren ca. 2,5 km Richtung Zentrum zum Ziel. Richtung Bremen verlassen Sie die A1 an der Ausfahrt Osnabrück-Nord Richtung Osnabrück. Vor der Bahnunterführung halten Sie sich rechts Richtung Altstadt und biegen nach ca. 2 km links in die Straße Neuer Graben. How to get here: From Dortmund/Münster and Amsterdam/Rheine get on the motorway A30 at the Lotte/Osnabrück interchange and continue on the A30 motorway towards Osnabrück. Exit the motorway (A30) at the “Osnabrück-Hellern/Mitte” exit and drive approx 2.5 km towards the destination. Travelling towards Bremen, exit the motorway (A1) at the “Osnabrück-Nord” exit.
