HAPPY NEW YEAR! Happy New Year to everyone. A lot of activities/car shows/cruise in’s are being discussed to place on our calendar to attend this year. If there is an activity you think the club would like to do, just let me know. Bring your information on up and coming car shows to a club meeting or e-mail to me when you receive it. We will begin placing all this on our calendar at the January meeting. Also on the agenda will be reviewing the club By-Laws. Right now the next club activity will be our Annual Valentine’s Day Dinner. This will be held on Saturday, February 18, at the Longhorn Steak House (West Town Mall parking lot next to Dillard’s). Dinner is at 5:00pm. It is important that you RSVP to Judy by February 15. The restaurant will need the final number so they can set up for us. The annual club Christmas party was held at James White’s Fort on December 17. There was a great group in attendance. The tables in the kitchen area were full with tasty dishes and the dessert table was empty by the end of the evening! The gift exchange made for an interesting time. Several gifts kept exchanging hands all evening. Round 19 saw just about every gift exchanged! Mark your calendars now for this year - December 16. At the January meeting the club will need to elect a Secretary for this year. If you are interested in this position, please let me know.

Car Show Update By Judy Holman The 29th Annual “Fun In The Sun” All Mopar Car Show is on the calendar for Saturday, June 24. Chilhowee Park Fair Grounds - Midway Side. Flyers are ready!!! I will have them at all meetings, activities, and events. The winter season is fast approaching. Is your car ready? Things to consider: if putting your Mopar up for the winter, put some Sta-bil fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, check the antifreeze, connect the battery to a battery tender. Your daily driver - check the antifreeze, the air pressure in the tires, and the tread on the tires. Keep an ice scraper handy. Be ready for anything Mother Nature throws our way. (personally - I’m looking forward to a good snow fall.) Now is the time to clean out the garage. Send me information (and pictures if possible) of parts you want to sell. Include what is it, what it fits, price, and contact information.

Club Wearables - car show season is right around the corner and wouldn’t you look good wearing a shirt or jacket with your name and the club logo on it? Please note that once your order is placed, it will take about 3 weeks to get your items. Place your order at any regular club meeting. All items must be paid for at time of ordering.
