BECAUSE ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL From the beginning, Nuprodx shower / commode and tub / slider systems have utilized modular design and construction—unique to the industry. All chairs and slider systems start with a sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum-alloy base built up with precision-machined components, which the chair legs, cushions and backrests mount to with stainless steel fasteners. But there is more to this than meets the eye: Because every system is built-to-order at our California facility, we have the ability to choose from various modular parts that goes into any chair we build, allowing us to configure your individual system to meet just about any special requirements without special custom parts. BECAUSE WE DESIGN PRODUCTS FOR CHILDREN TO LARGER ADULTS We come in all different shapes, so do our homes. And we go about everyday living differently too, and it’s exactly why the Nuprodx modular design will never be compromised. It’s the only compact system that fits in more spaces­—where you live now, where you might live next year and that is easily adaptable to skeletal, muscular and neurological conditions unique to you. Do you have long legs and a narrow torso? A wide torso and short legs? Our modular construction, with various-sized frame rails, “grow corners” and exclusive back-post adapters, gives us the ability to provide seating solutions for small children to adults—and even larger adults—and is just one example of our ability to configure a chair especially for you.

Perhaps the biggest advantage in designing and building our chairs in the USA is our ability to fabricate solutions for challenging situations. As an example, with the adaptation of existing parts and minimal fabrication, we can devise simple, reasonably-priced solutions, such as leg guides that adapt to the footrest mount. We also build custom, computer-designed cushions with multiple padding options. The end takeaway is that Nuprodx will always have a solution to the most subjective of special requests: Custom angle thigh rests, custom angle, height and fore / aft placement backrests and higher-than-standard seat heights are among the many things we can make available to you. BECAUSE WE ARE A LEADER IN PEDIATRIC SYSTEMS Nuprodx believes everyone deserves to live life with as much comfort and dignity as possible—especially children. Utilizing our modular design and construction, we developed our exclusive Pediatric “grow” system so our existing shower / commode chairs and tub / slider systems can “grow” with a child. You will never again need to buy a new shower chair or tub slider system due to the physical growth that comes in the teen years.

With the Pediatric “grow” system, buy any non-folding Nuprodx chair—stationary, rolling, or tub / slider system, size it for your child and later adapt it to fit as they grow–all the way to adulthood. And because not everyone grows at the same rate, there is built-in adjustability for seat width and depth. When combined with our adjustable brackets and various-sized cushions (for the big steps), you can enlarge the chair only where needed as the user grows, saving literally $1,000s of dollars as compared to buying a whole new system.

The 3000 series is intended for users who have good mobility and developed transfer skills and those who have the assistance of a caregiver. Based on our modular seat base, they feature Nuprodx’s unique clamping system to hold the chair legs firmly in place, for the rigidity and solid feel you would expect to find in a heavier, non-portable welded chair. Even so, they can be quickly and easily packed down for travel in the available luggage cases. All models feature self-skinning cushions with a 1/2” waterfallstyle foam ring around the commode opening and slot to help protect the ischial and coccyx areas, reducing the risk of pressure sores. THINGS TO KNOW • Under-seat height adjusts from 13.5” to 21” to fit over the highest toilets required by the ADA.
