DMG MORI has been defining the standard for users of powerful entry-level machines for many years with the ECOLINE product range. This also applies to the new generation of ecoMill V vertical machining centres. The range consists of a series of machines that can accommodate workpieces weighing 600 kg, 800 kg and 1,000 kg respectively on the ecoMill 600 V, ecoMill 800 V and ecoMill 1100 V, with X-axis traverses of 600 mm, 800 mm and 1,100 mm for the three sizes of vertical machining centres. The highlight of the latest ecoMill V series is the completely revised ECOLINE design, by means of which DMG MORI has improved working ergonomics and achieved a high degree of value retention. The new 19" DMG MORI SLIMline® multi-touch control with Operate on SIEMENS as well as 15" DMG MORI SLIMline® with MAPPS IV on FANUC control is the latest version of the innovative and modern user interface.

12,000 rpm milling spindle in standard
ecoMill V series
Stable and rigid C-frame construction for greatest performance and precision. The ecoMill V series is based on a C-frame cast iron bed for the best stiffness and vibration characteristics. Ball screws of the highest quality and a 12,000 rpm spindle were combined to meet the highest standards in production. A comprehensive options kit, e. g. with linear scales for direct d istance measurement or a production package with a 12-bar internal coolant supply (optionally 20 bar with paper belt filter and 600-litre tank) is at your disposal. The low connected load, efficient power consumption and energy recovery ensure a good energy utilisation. 04

Powerful machining centres. The performance of the three models in the ecoMill V series is outstanding, even in the standard version. The highest precision (without direct scales) can be realized, due to direct coupling in X / Y, no belt drive for no backlash. An optimized machine structure also increases stability during machining, and a high degree of manufacturing flexibility is provided in the standard version by having 30 tool pockets in the tool magazine.

Highest reliability and productivity. The machines in the ecoMill V series are equipped as standard with a 12,000 rpm spindle. The stable spindle features precision bearings and is permanently lubricated. The balanced construction, special bearings and stable design guarantee high continuous speeds. The machine control system carries out constant monitoring and regulation. Temperature compensation: an electronic temperature sensor (including evaluation unit) detects and compensates for geometric changes caused by heating of the milling spindle. The machine control system carries out constant monitoring and regulation. The solid and ingenious construction of the machine elements minimises heat build-up and ensures good levels of heat dissipation.
