HELPING HANDS organized by DEPARTMENT OF MBA DATE: 16-06-2012 Department of MBA, CMRCET has organized a program named helping hands at ICW, Medchal on 16-6-2012. The motive behind this program is to help people who are in need. ICW is an organization which has taken up the challenge to help special people in the society. They take care of the old aged, children and mentally retarded patients. The students and staff of MBA Department of CMR College of Engineering & Technology have taken the initiative and contributed to the organization by providing the goods which are utilized by them in their daily usage such as Rice Bags, Wheat, Oil tins, Soaps, Shampoos, Hair oil, Clothes etc,. Department of MBA has assured a continuous help to ICW.

CSR Initiative @ Dept of MBA, CMRCET One Day work shop on Time Management at ZPHS (Boys)school, Medchal.
A one day workshop was conducted by Department of MBA, CMRCET on16-03-2012 “Time Management” at ZPHS (Boys) School, Medchal.The programme was attended by 7th, 8th 9th Standard students of ZPHS.Mr Laxma Reddy,Headmaster appreciated the efforts of CMR college and also explained how important it is to manage time The programme was conducted with an objective to teach young boys the importance of time and how time management will lead to success .The students of MBA told short stories, performed plays, conducted demonstrations and time management games. The faculty of MBA dept, students and staff of ZPHS, participated with great enthusiasm. Prizes were distributed to first and second prize winners of time management games.

Ban Plastic-Save Environment Campaign @ ZPHS (Girls) School, Medchal. One Day Workshop-How to Make Paper Bags Date:17-03-2012
Plastic usage has undoubtedly become something with which we cannot realize our daily activities from disposing garbage to storing of food and using them to carry anything. But it is very important for everyone to become aware of types of plastic which cannot be used and which is harmful, Ifs and buts of plastic etc. It is especially very important for younger generation to know about these facts and discourage its use, so Department of MBA,CMR College of Engineering and Technology has conducted a one day workshop on “Ban Plastic –Save Environment “ at ZPHS(Girls) school,Medchal.On this occasion a workshop was conducted to teach the students how to make Paper bags and to use it as a substitute for plastic bags.. The programme was attended by staff and students of Dept of MBA and ZPHS (Girls) school. The students were explained the advantages and disadvantages of Plastic and were
encouraged to use paper or cloth bags instead of
polythene.The students participated with great enthusiasm in making paper bags and using the paper bags.

CSR Initiative @ Dept of MBA, CMRCET Independence Day Celebrations at NNSR ZPHS school, Athvelly.
Independence day celebrations were held at ZPHS of Athvelly village as a part of CSR activity. Students were encouraged to participate in co curricular activities such as Elocution, Quiz, Time management and simulation games and extracurricular activities such as cricket, one minute games etc. On Friday 15th August in the presence of local people's representatives, staff and students of ZPHS of Athvelly, prizes and mementos were sponsored and given by the department of CMRCET MBA.
