NOTICE INVITING TENDER The Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad Circle, 2nd Block, 3rd Floor, Kendriya Sadan, Sultan Bazar, Hyderabad on behalf of President of India, invites tender in sealed cover for supply of following items, from approved and eligible contractors/suppliers of ASI/CPWD/MES/PWD/Railways and public undertakings who have experience in execution of similar works of repute. Tenders will be received on 27-12-2013_up to 3.00 p.m. and will be opened in the office of the Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad circle, Hyderabad on the same day at 3.30p.m. The details of work and tender documents will be available in the office of the superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad Circle, Hyderabad and in the office of the Conservation Assistant, Archaeological Survey of India, Kadapa on all working days between 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM. The earnest money should be deposited in the form of Demand Draft on any Nationalized Bank obtained in favour of the “Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad Circle, and Hyderabad” along with the duly filled tender documents. The tender forms of contractors/bidder who do not deposit earnest money in the prescribed form will be summarily rejected. The sealed cover should be superscribed with the name of work & date of opening. Note: 1) Last date of issue of tender documents is 24-12-2013 2) Work should start immediately and complete within 30 days from the date of issue of work/supply order as per specific instruction of the under signed. 3) The Contractor/supplier will be permitted to attend at the time tender opening. 4) The tender documents are available on website WWW.asi.nic.in which may be down loaded and submitted along with the tender form cost in the form of DD in favour of Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad Circle, Hyderabad. The DD towards the VAT should be favouring the CTO, Sultan Bazar, Hyderabad. 5) In respect of the downloaded tender schedules from Archaeological Survey of India website, the demand drafts towards cost of Tender and the VAT applicable on the cost of tenders should be purchased on or before the last date for sale of tenders i.e. 24-12-2013 6) Three separate DD’s be obtained towards cost of tender, EMD, and VAT for those who have down loaded from the web site. 7) Tender schedule should be duly signed by the contractor with full name and address and witness (full name and address) to his signature. The envelop should be superscribed with the name of work and the date of opening.

8) If the date of issue/receipt of the tender happens to be holiday, the tenders will be issued/opened on the next working day. 9) The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason. 10) The Contractor Registration Certificate, Industry Registration Certificate, Income tax Clearance Certificate, VAT, and Residence Proof Certificate, and Experience of similar work are to be submitted along with the tender schedule invariably. Should this tender be accepted, I/we hereby abide by and fulfill all the terms and provisions of the said conditions annexed hereto so far as applicable, and/or in default thereof to forfeit and pay to the President of India or his successor in office the sum of money mentioned in the said conditions. A sum of Rs.__________* is herewith forwarded in Demand draft/bankers cheque as earnest money. If I/we fail to commence the work to specified in the above memorandum or if I/we fail to deposit the amount of security deposit specified against (i) (a) in the above memorandum in accordance with the clause 1 of the said conditions of contracts I/we agree that the said President or his successors in the office shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy, shall be retained by his towards such security deposit. I/we further agree that the said President or his successors in office shall also be at liberty to cancel the acceptance of the tender if I/we fail to deposit security amounts to aforesaid.
