NEW: Establish a means to identify first-year students in GSR 101 who are at-risk and connect the Peer Mentors and Instructors with identified students. Students can be identified as at-risk through various means and at various times during the semester/year i.e. attendance, the StarFish Early Alert system, midterm grades, and final grades). Once student identified, Peer Mentor performs outreach, develops a contract with student that includes regular meetings with student on a weekly basis, documenting contact and progress of meetings in StarFish

system throughout the semester/ academic year. Collaborate with GSR 150 and GSR 110 to continue providing Peer Mentor outreach to identified students during the first-year, second-semester. Work on Academic Recovery Plan (StarFish) for students who are on academic probation/atrisk at the end of each academic term based on criteria such as poor GPA, high number of flags in Starfish, in danger of losing financial aid, and frequency of incidents in the dorm. Students would be required to meet with PM/PA and PM/PA would document contact meetings and keep notes.
