With an F5 Professional Certification, you have earned the use of the logos that F5 has developed exclusively for F5 Certified individuals. When using the F5 Professional Certification logos, please adhere to these guidelines. This helps maintain a consistent F5 brand identity across emails, web properties, and business cards, and anywhere else the F5 Professional Certification logos are used.

Correct Usage F5 Professional Certification Program

F5 Professional Certification logos and the term “F5” cannot appear to be part of your trademarks, company name, product name, or service name. F5 Professional Certification logos must be displayed as prominently as any other third-party relationship logos displayed on your materials. You must use artwork supplied by F5 and follow the graphic standards for use of the F5 Professional Certification logos. You may not use the F5 Professional Certification logos in any manner that reflects negatively on F5. Only Certified individuals can use these logos. If your certification expires, you must discontinue use of the F5 Professional Certification Program logos upon expiration.

Correct Usage (Don’ts) F5 Professional Certification Program

The F5 Professional Certification logos can only be used on business cards, in email signatures, and on web pages.

Do not try to recreate the gradation or use a tint of the logo color

Do not skew or stretch the logo

You may not change the color or font of the F5 Professional Certification logos, take them apart, change their proportions, animate them, or otherwise alter them in any way. These examples demonstrate some scenarios that should be avoided when using an F5 Professional Certification logo. Do not use a logo to represent text in a sentence.

Do not reverse out the logo on a dark background

Clear Space F5 Professional Certification Program

To ensure maximum visibility, readability, and brand integrity, the F5 Professional Certification logos should never visually compete with any other graphic elements. They should always be surrounded by clear space. This clear space must be equal to the height of the logo.

The blue box surrounding the logo illustrates the required minimum clear space around the logo; no text or graphics should encroach on this space, represented by the blue “X” symbol. X is equal to the logo height.

When naming your certification in text, please use a name from this approved list. Use the complete name first, show the abbreviated name in parentheses, and then use the abbreviation for the remainder of the document. Example: “I am an F5 Certified Application Delivery Architect (F5-CADA). My qualification as an F5-CADA means that ...” If you have multiple certifications at a particular level, for example, F5 Certified Technology Specialist, BIG-IP LTM and F5 Certified Technology Specialist, BIG-IP ASM, after the initial complete name, they can be abbreviated jointly. Example: “I am an F5 Technology Specialist, BIG-IP LTM and an F5 Technology Specialist, BIG-IP ASM (F5-CTS, LTM and ASM). My F5-CTS, LTM and ASM certification means that I am …”

Trademark Basics and Credit Line F5 Professional Certification Program

All emails and web properties bearing any of the F5 Professional Certification logos must credit ownership to F5. The following credit line should be used: “F5 and F5 Networks are registered trademarks of F5 and/or its affiliates.” This credit line should be grouped with other legal information. Business cards, Facebook, and Twitter are exempt from this requirement.
