DELIVERIES

PLATED DINNERS Pre-Selected Entrée Choice: when more than one entrée is selected and the guaranteed numbers are provided minimum 1 week in advance to the function. The highest priced entrée will be charged for all guests. Wedding couple must provide entrée identification for each guest.

Please ensure proper labeling of all deliveries. There is limited storage space on property; we are therefore unable to accept shipment earlier than 2 days prior to the event. All shipments are to be delivered to the loading dock. The hotel will not receive or sign for COD shipments or to be responsible for shipment left behind. A charge may be applied for moving and storing of shipped items.

A La Carte Entrée Choice: when more than one entrée is selected and choices are made the day of function. An additional charge of $10 per person will be applied on top of menu price. A minimum of four courses must be selected, with a maximum of 3 entrée choices. The highest priced entrée will be charged for all guests.

GUEST COUNT

BUFFET DINNERS Dinner Buffets are designed for a maximum of two hours of food service. Action fees are not included in menu price. MENU TASTING Once a wedding is booked; we will be delighted to set a time for a menu tasting. This is typically arranged 2 months prior to a wedding date however we are happy to be flexible depending on the date and time of year. Please consult your Event Manager for availability. Menus are customizable, speak to your Catering Sales Manager or Event Manager for details. Beverage HOST BAR All beverages consumed are paid for by the Host. A bartender fee of $150 will apply per bar. Based on a 2 hour time period, if bar revenue exceed $500 per bar this fee will be waived. Host bar prices are subject to tax & service charge. CASH BAR Guests are responsible for paying for their own beverages. A bartender fee of $150 will apply per bar. Based on a 2 hour time period, if bar revenue exceed $500 per bar this fee will be waived. Additionally a cashier fee of $75 will apply for each cashier, based on 2 hours of service. Additional hours will be billed at $25 per hour. Cash bar prices are inclusive of tax; gratuity is at the discretion of the guest. In accordance with BC Liquor laws, all alcohol beverages consumed In licensed areas must be purchased by the hotel through the BC Liquor Distribution Board. Liquor service is not permitted after 1:00 am on Monday to Saturday and 12:00 am on Sunday and holidays.

The hotel requires an approximate guest count 30 days prior to your event. Your final guarantee of attendance is due 1 week prior to the event. After that, it is possible to increase the guest count number but not reduce the number below your final guaranteed count. If number of guests exceed the guarantee, appropriate charges will be incurred.

MUSIC / ENTERTAINMENT AUDIO VISUAL SERVICE Frischkorn Audio Visual Services is our in-house audio visual specialist. Please consult with your Event Manager for pricing. SOCAN & ReSound FEE Any live or taped music used to enhance your wedding ceremony or reception is subject to the Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) Music Tariff Fees. The fee is based on the maximum capacity of the function space you book. Please consult with your Sales or Event Manager for specific pricing.

PARKING As part of the wedding package the Bride & Groom receive complimentary Valet Parking. Guests can choose to self park or valet at the following rates: Hourly (6 am to 6 pm) | 7 per hour Self Park Daily | 21 per day Self Park (after 6 pm all evenings) | 6 per car Parking prices are subject to change without prior notice.

SERVICE CHARGE AND TAXES All food & beverage, miscellaneous items and audio visual are subject to a 20% service charge and applicable taxes. An additional labour charge will be assessed if your event falls on Canadian statutory holiday.

SMOKING POLICY

DÉCOR Should you wish to decorate your function space, we suggest you appoint someone dedicated to assist with the set up and tear down of your floral and decor items. Floral centerpieces, specialty linens, and/or chair covers may be arranged through alternate suppliers. Your Event Manager can assist with these rentals, however you are more than welcome to have them brought in through an alternate source. All candles used must be in enclosed containers. Any decorations or signs may be displayed with supporting equipment. Use of tacks, staples, nails or anything that could mark the walls is not permitted. Any use of smoke, fog or dry ice will trigger the fire alarm. It is the client’s responsibility to provide the hotel with advance notice of any smoke being used. Failing to inform the Event Manager and activating the fire alarm system is an offence that will result in a $1000 charge to the event host. Set up and tear down time is not included in rental and may be an additional cost. Please advise your Event Manager if you do require additional time. Please see our list of preferred vendors for our recommendations.

The hotel is 100% non smoking. There are designated smoking areas for your guests to use outside.
