DALSA CT-F6 TDI Camera The CT-F6 camera offers the high sensitivity and throughput of multi-tapped TDI line scanning. With its high blue response and bi-directional capability, the CT-F6 masters the most demanding line scan applications.

Description The CT-F6 camera uses TDI (Time Delay and Integration) technology for high sensitivity. The camera offers 2048 resolution with 96 TDI stages. Multiple (tapped) outputs provide extremely high line rates (up to 44kHz). The CT-F6 camera uses DALSA’s patented modular architecture. This system of connecting circuit modules through standardized busses allows DALSA to build a high performance modular camera using the reliability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness of high-volume interchangeable parts. Within the camera, a driver board provides bias voltages and clocks to the CCD image sensor, a timing board generates all internal timing, and 4 A/D boards processes the video and digitize it for output. Sensor The CT-F6 camera uses the IT-F6 TDI line scan image sensor for high speed, high resolution performance. The pixel size is 13µm x 13µm with a 100% fill factor (all of the image area is photosensitive) to achieve maximum sensitivity within the pixel. Figure 1 shows the block diagram of the sensor.
