- A&C was founded in 1983 by postgraduate students of the University of Turin (Piedmont Region, North of Italy), Stefano Commodo and Renato Ambrosio. - Our mission is “to meet any legal requirement with fairness and transparency whenever entrepreneur or individual is confronted with everyday issues in order not only to find a solution but also to prevent a problem”. INDUSTRY • The city is also well known for its aerospace industry. Large important companies, production units of leading companies and industrial leaders like Alcatel-Alenia Space, Alenia Aeronautica, Avio Spa, Galileo Avionica and Microtecnica operate downstream the industry. • The International Space Station modules Harmony, Columbus, Tranquility, as well as the Cupola and all MPLMs were produced in Turin. • The future European launcher projects beyond Ariane 5 will also be managed from Turin, by the new NGL company, a subsidiary of EADS (70%) and Finmeccanica (30%). • Turin is also the birthplace of some of the country's main companies, such as Telecom Italia (telecommunications), Rai (television), Infostrada, Omnitel and cinema. • The central role of the whole region is also clearly shown by the growing interest of foreign industrial investors. More than 500 foreign businesses in the manufacturing, service and commerce sectors, have already made Piemonte the base for development in Italy and Europe. These include: Jac, AE Goetze, Alstom, Contitech, Dayco, Dea Brown and Sharpe, Eaton, Federal Mogul, Irci, Kimberly Clark, Lear Corporation, L'Oreal, Magna Pagina and 11

CAR INDUSTRY • •

The Italian car industry has its roots in Torino and Piemonte, where the headquarters of the car company FIAT is located. Fiat is the largest vehicle manufacturer in Italy, with cars ranging from small Fiat city cars to sports cars made by Ferrari, and vans and trucks such as the Ducato. Besides Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A, the Fiat Group automotive companies include Ferrari S.p.A. and Maserati S.p.A. The Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. companies include: Abarth & C. S.p.A., Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A., Lancia, Fiat Automobiles S.p.A., Fiat Professional.
