ANNOUNCEMENT Interclub Figure Skating Competition Event Time: April 14, 2017 – April 16, 2017 Organized by: Figure Skating Club Olympic Venue of Competition: Tondiraba Ice Arena, Rink size 60 x 30 meters Address: Varraku 14, Tallinn, Estonia Tallinn Icestar Cup 2017 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2016, the Special Regulations & Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2016 and all respective ISU Communications for figure skating and the classification of the Estonian Skating Union for the season 2016/2017. The competition will be held with the ISU Judging System for all categories. All the information will be available on the organizer´s website www.Icestarcup.eu .

Competition will be held in the following single skating categories: Advanced Novice: Girls, Boys ISU Communication 2024 Basic Novice B: Girls, Boys ISU Communication 2024 Basic Novice A: Girls, Boys ISU Communication 2024 Cubs: Girls, Boys Estonian technical requirements for season 2016/2017 Chicks “Axel”: Girls, Boys Estonian technical requirements for season 2016/2017 Chicks: Girls, Boys Estonian technical requirements for season 2016/2017

REGISTRATION OF ENTRIES Each club has the right to enter max 3 competitors in each category and class. In case a club wishes to enter more skaters, those skaters can be registered on a waiting-list. The Organizer shall have a right to limit the number of skaters from invited clubs and shall apply the “first come, first serve” principle. Entries must be submitted in a written form (see Entry form). Please provide your contact information (e-mail, phone) on the entry form. Entry forms must be submitted by March 20, 2017. ENTRY FEE: Single Skating with one program: 65€ Single Skating with two programs: 75€ Each club has to pay the entry fee to the organizers’ bank account by April 01, 2017. In case of cancellation, the competitor has to inform the Organizer not later than three weeks before the competition starts. The competitor is included in the entry list only after the payment of the entry fee and from that moment can only be substituted by another skater in the same category and class if an emergency cancellation occurs. In case the entry fee is not paid in time (by April 01.2017) the Organizer has the right to cancel the respective entry(ies). Entry fee must be paid to the organizer’s account: Olympic IK MTÜ SWIFT/BIC EEUHEE2X IBAN EE65101022024997222 Address: Varraku 14, Tallinn We kindly ask the clubs to make one payment for all its participants. • All registration-related procedures (annulment, changes) must be submitted to the organizer in written form as soon as possible, but no later than April 5th, 2017 to the e-mail: [email protected]. • In case a skater has been entered in the competition, but cannot participate, she/he can be replaced by another skater in the same category and class. Entry fees are not refunded.

PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT Competitors are asked to send their planned elements by e-mail to [email protected] by April 5th, 2017 at the latest. The Sheet must be filled according to the ISU element abbreviations for the season 2016/2017.

TIME-SCHEDULE The competition will start on Friday, April, 14, 2017 and will be finished on Sunday, April 16, 2017. A detailed Time-Schedule will be sent to all participating Members soon after the Entry deadline. Time schedule will also be available at the Organizer’s website www.icestarcup.eu .

JUDGES Each participating club may enter judges of at least National category to the Competition in writing to [email protected] . Coaches are not allowed to act as Judges. In case a judge is entered by a foreign club, the latter is responsible for the judge’s transportation and accommodation expenses. However, accommodation compensation in the amount of up to EUR 80 per night is available for judges from abroad upon the presentation of a hotel receipt (addressed to Olympic FSC, Varraku 14, Tallinn). Judges will be granted with remuneration

MANDATE All participating clubs are asked to send their final entry forms for the draw by 1 p.m. on April 14, 2017.

DRAWS ISU electronic draw shall be conducted on April 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. to draw the starting orders of all categories. In case of categories with two programs, the starting order for the free program shall be the reversed result of the short program.

STARTING ORDERS Starting orders will be available at the Organizer’s website www.icestarcup.eu after the Electronic Draw.

AWARDING Trophies will be awarded to the first three standings of each category/class. All competitors shall receive a diploma at the awarding ceremony.

PROTESTS Each team has the right to submit a protest. Protests must be submitted to the Referee of the relevant event immediately after the event at the latest. Upon the submission of the protest a protest fee of 50 EUR must be paid. The referee’s decision is final. In the ISU judging systems no protests can be filed against the judges,

but against the right determination of the executed element or incorrect mathematical calculation. Please read ISU Rule 123.

MUSIC CD’s can be used (do not use MP3 format). Music (equipped with the full name of the competitor, club and category) must be submitted to the announcer’s desk before the relevant event and picked up from the same place after the event.

RESPONSIBILITY In accordance with the ISU constitution, Rule 119, all participants act at their own Responsibility.

THE CODE OF ETHICS All officials (skaters, coaches, judges, chaperons) must follow ISU Communication 1433.

ACCOMMODATION Relevant information will be provided by organizer in a special appendix.
