! RACE TRACK DESIGN

! Aerial GP Race track designs are plotted out with Air Gates and Air Flags.

!

Air Gates are half circle pylon designs that are 2.4 meter in height and 3 meter width. Any model aircraft from 200mm to 1300mm will be able to travel through these gates safely.

!

It is polyester material protection flexible pvc or fiberglass core design allows for hits that absorb shock, reducing damage to the model aircraft while still maintaining structural integrity. Air Gates will be placed in strategic areas to indicate the Racing Lines close to the ground.

! Air Gates for high speed straights and slalom (controls altitude and racing line).

! !

! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Air Flags are full flag designs that are 3 meter height, and can be raised 4 meter in the

air to indicate course changes in the Race Line. Air Gates designs are also polyester

protected with a pvc or fiberglass core for flexibility.

! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

! The Air Flags are used for major high speed turns where altitude is not controlled.

! !

!

The race track is designed this way to allow for the highest speed through the course without having to slow down or stop.

!

The initial design is a 0.8 to 1 km bean shape, and the course can be made more difficult by making the turns sharper. Around 30 seconds to 1 minute on average per lap.

With the exception of indoor races.

! PRE - RACE

!

Event Producer and organizers will set up "Air Gates," and "Air Flags," and plot out the 3D race track min. 1 day prior to Race Day. FPV pilots will test race lines with AGP officials to set safety perimeters and frequency checks around the race track.

!

Once the race track is finalized and approved by AGP officials, pre- registered FPV teams who have undergone all safety inspections and frequency assignments may fly the course to practice.

!

a) Online pre-registration via Aerial GP website - payment, liability, and safety information documents. Race Number requests (optional)

! b) Practice day model aircraft safety inspection. Frequency check and assignments.

! ! RACE DAY

! Race Day will consist of the following.

!

a) Race day check in. payment, liability, and safety information documents. Race Number assignments (optional)

! b) Race day model aircraft safety inspection. Frequency check and assignments.
