The three phase starter consistsof four basic components: ( 1) o v e r l o a d b l o c k w i t h h e a t e r s , ( 2 ) m a g n e t i c c o n t a c t o r , (3) transformer, (41 start/stop station. The start/stopstation is not shown in Fig. 5. Neither are the input connections f r o m t h e s t a r t / s t o ps t a t i o n a n d t h e i n p u t c o n n e c t i o n sf r o m t h e t h r e e p h a s em o t o r o r p o w e r s u p p l y .
T h e t h r e e p h a s e L V C m o t o r s t a r t e r i s c o m p r i s e do f a p o w e r c i r c u i t a n d a c o n t r o l c i r c u i t .
