Introducing Our Sensational New Area Rugs!

Kane’s rug

program has taken the flooring world by storm! Our initial showing at the Atlanta and Las Vegas shows was met with unprecedented enthusiasm. “This is just what our customers have been asking for,” said one carpet store owner from Memphis. “What a gorgeous selection. I want one of each in my own home!” exclaimed one owner from Teaneck. The overwhelmingly positive feedback did not come as a surprise to us. We designed our rugs to coordinate with many of our best-selling broadloom and runner designs. We have been building our line of rugs based on requests from our customers. We set the colors so it would complement wood flooring. We searched the world for the best designs. In fact, our rug program has met with such an enthusiastic response, that we have installed two new looms to handle the demand and we apologize for any slight delays you may have experienced. At Kane we have a tradition of excellence. We want to provide our customers with the best quality at the best prices. The rug collection follows in that tradition. We look forward to serving you with all your flooring needs. To see the entire area rug collection, visit our web site: www.kanecarpet.com.

Testimonials

Spotlight On…

Avalon Carpet & Tile

Cherry Hill, NJ ASK ANYONE in the United States what they think of when you say the word Avalon, the answer you’d get is... “Oh, you mean the shore town down in Jersey?” Ask anyone IN New Jersey, and the answer is...” You mean the floor covering dealer?” Avalon Carpet & Tile, based in Cherry Hill, NJ celebrates their golden anniversary in 2008. Started by the Millar family in 1958, it has grown over the years to 12 stores, including moving into neighboring Delaware and Pennsylvania. Their newest location recently opened in Rio Grande, NJ, and boasts a 25,000 square foot custom-built showroom—a first for the folks at Avalon. Marc Martorano, Head Buyer of Broadloom for Avalon spoke to us recently about why Kane works so well for them. “I think the quality, designs and patterns make it work. There’s a large mix of contemporary and traditional designs available that allow us to really use the line in any number of commercial or residential applications. I think the colors are what help it work too. They’re consistently using and updating colors which are important to the customer.” He also goes on to tell us that “Kane has become an important vendor to us in recent years, and we look forward to what’s to come.” Recently, their Warrington, PA store used our own Sultana, Black Beauty (88018/1) to accent their specialty broadloom area. Kane was honored to be the one asked to help them draw attention to this growing section of their business. As you can see from the (background) picture—it turned out absolutely stunning. While Avalon has grown as a company, it still takes great pride in serving its customers on a one-on-one basis. Each sales member is trained not only by store managers, but by constantly having people from various companies come in and perform what Marc calls “PK Classes” or product knowledge classes. “This allows our sales people to consistently improve their understanding of the products that are offered in the store. The more informed the sales teams are, the more they’re able to help their customers in every way possible.” While Avalon prides itself on being “a full-service sales and installation provider of highquality flooring products — as well as the largest importer of Ceramic Tile in the Delaware Valley” — it also has deep roots in the Tri-State area. In January, Avalon donated $66,000.00 through its Workplace Giving Program. These donations did not go to one charity, but to three: The Make-A-Wish Foundation™, American Heart Association™, and The American Cancer Society. The program was started by employees in 2004 in the hopes of “raising awareness of civic responsibility” through the support of charities and non-profit organizations. Since its inception, Avalon has matched employee donations and collectively raised over $116,000.00 to benefit charities in the Tri-State Area.
