Precise, repeatable plate making WPS Premium Letterpress Plates are formulated with PVA, not nylon, and are completely water-dissolvable without heavy brush pressure. As a result, fine detail on the plate is preserved, and the ability to reproduce fine lines and reverses on the same plate is signficantly improved.

For the adhesive label printing market Wifac can offer a foil back substrate plate for label and seal printing. With the WPS Premium Letterpress Plate you will be able to print award winning labels. The plate is able to do re-prints if cleaned and stored in a proper way. The plate is also excellent applicable to business forms, commercial and security printing. Available in analogue and digital.
The processing of the plate is very easy. PVA based ingredients are responsible for resolving completely in the water. No residue remains in the wash water and there is hardly any smell. A cliché can be processed in only 30 minutes from virgin plate to ready for press product.

Resistant to UV-curable Flexo inks Excellent image reproduction
The water washable WPS Premium Letterpress Plate for UV-Flexo is resistant to UV-curable inks. The plate can be used on narrow web flexo printing presses. All kinds of flexo applications can be printed like labels, plastics and cardboards. Another application is varnishing and spot-varnishing. Image printing on adhesive tape printing is a special application for the UV-Flexo clichés which offers an added value to the product.
Available in analogue and digital versions. The digital version can be laser exposed on all different brands of digital imagers and is giving an even better printing result. A 1% dot can be kept on the plate giving an excellent print result with fading highlights.
