We use BIM to create high-performance spaces that are more performance based, cost effective and faster to deliver for our clients, project managers and partners locally and regionally. Our approach to design leverages 3D modelling, concurrent analysis and integrated project delivery practices. Building information modelling (BIM) is at the heart of our design methodology. BIM enables project and stakeholder teams to collaborate on virtual models, test ideas, optimise building performance and coordinate work before beginning procurement or construction.

ISO 9001; What is it?
During our 15 years of successfully delivering over 30 million Sq.ft of projects across the Middle East and Africa, Bluehaus Group has developed and integrated a tried and tested method for successfully delivering projects allowing our architects, designers, engineers and site supervisors to focus on what’s important; delivering world-class design solutions and exceptional service to our clients and partners.
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) publishes ISO 9000, a series of standards that define and maintain an effective quality assurance system for service and manufacturing industries. ISO 9000 deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems while ISO 9001 describes the requirements that organisations must fulfil in order to meet the standard. Over one million companies and organisations in over 170 countries operate to ISO 9001. The system has been proven to make business owners and managers feel more in control and to ensure everyone within the organisation is clear about their duties whilst, at the same time, retaining the authority to resolve problems quickly and effectively. Implementing ISO has added great value to Bluehaus Group’s already established quality process and service.

We take very seriously our responsibility in observing best environmental practices and the utilisation and exploration of sustainable products, services and materials to add-value to our clients and projects.
In addition to delivering external sustainability to projects, our clients and our partners in an effort to support organisational aspirations, Bluehaus Group has established and achieved longterm internal strategies to build a culture of sustainability and awareness within our own organisation.
Our diverse team of Architects, Interior Designers and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineers from across the globe, bring a vast depth of experience delivering sustainable initiatives in various sectors and markets. We work with the leading LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) consultants in the market on more complex projects. Bluehaus Group was a key partner in delivering the first LEED certified ‘existing’ building refurbishment in the Arab world with the successful and award winning Dubai Chamber of Commerce refurbishment. This project, in which Bluehaus Group is proud to have played an important role, also achieved LEED Platinum. The high-profile Siemens Masdar City project, also achieved LEED Platinum and has been applauded globally.
In 2012 Bluehaus Group delivered the ‘Bluehaus Group Sustainability Strategy’ the objective of which is to reduce printing, and the use of print-cartridges, across the group by 50% by 2015 Despite the tangible benefits of reduced printing costs and reduced pollutants there are beneficial operational benefits to our clients, partners and our organisation. In order to achieve our ambitious strategy, and with a view to improving efficiency, Bluehaus Group integrated Bluebeam technology across the group replacing the need for unnecessary printing, hard-copy drawings issue and distribution, improving the management of received information from reports to drawings and mark-up and sharing of information without the need for printing and, most of all, a more efficient way of working.
Designed to improve collaboration across organisations, and externally, Bluebeam is a market leading PDF based software developed specifically for the construction industry, Bluehaus Group has an entrenched culture of innovation and exploring new ways of working to better support our clients and partners. Bluehaus Group achieved its 2015 Sustainability Strategy set out in 2012 by reducing printing by 52% whilst growing as a group across the region. We continue to improve on this with remarkable results.

Bluehaus Group were commissioned by Al Futtaim Group to design the Architecture, Interior Design and MEP Engineering for the largest Lexus facility in the region. The building, of over 200,000 Sq.ft, is located in Dubai Festival City and includes a large showroom and service workshops. The design intent was to create a sophisticated innovative design and environment to align with the Lexus brand, whilst also meeting the specific functional needs of Al Futtaim Motors.

The design of the Dar Al Barsha towers for Al Futtaim Group, comprising both a commercial and residential tower, follows a modern minimalistic yet cost efficient Architectural language. Bluehaus Group utilised the maximum plot size with a view to maximizing the car parking area, and number of apartments. The façade design is stretched horizontally in order to reduce the mass of the building and utilises sliding shade panels to reduce heat gain and reduce air conditioning and operational costs.

The project involved a comprehensive survey and diagnostic phase which was challenging due to the extreme climatic conditions and a complex 3-dimensional geometry. The final design was completed modelled in BIM including delivering 4-dimensional analysis to assist the contractors with project programming and scheduling.
