We know arranging everything abroad may add to the nerves but our experienced weddings teams in the UK and overseas are on hand every step of the way to help you plan your perfect day. Personalised service at home and away Throughout the planning process, you’ll have a dedicated weddings specialist on hand to help you plan your day, so you can be sure to always recieve the personal service you deserve.

Flexibility to make your day unique No wedding is the same and we’re here to help make your day whatever you want it to be. Our standard packages offer all the wedding essentials, leaving you free to tailor the rest of your day. We’ll do everything we can to arrange the personal touches to make your day extra special. We’ll start you off with some of the possibilities but if there’s something particular you’d like, just chat to our Crystal Weddings team. The team will also advise you on all the important legal documentation for your marriage and make sure everything is covered. They’ll arrange translations of any compulsory documents before you travel and you’ll receive two international marriage certificates once your wedding has taken place.

In resort, our local Crystal Weddings coordinator will also be on hand to help with all your last minute preparations, taking care of everything whilst you’re away. | Italy

Italian Lakes

Lake Garda

A short drive from Romeo and Juliet’s Verona is Lake Garda, offering some of the most beautiful spots to hold your wedding. Celebrate with family and friends in the lemon groves at Torri del Benaco Castle, exchange vows in the castle of Malcesine, with views across the lake and village below, or say ‘I do’ in the heart of Garda, just a few metres from the lakefront. Lake Como

Described by Wordsworth as ‘a treasure which the earth keeps to itself’. Lake Como is a haven of lush vegetation, beautiful walks and impossibly romantic villages. Host your ceremony and reception at the beautiful Villa Cipressi in Varenna, or be wed at the intimate Bellagio Town Hall and discover a local restaurant for your celebrations. Lake Maggiore

The longest of the Italian lakes, Maggiore stretches 12km into the Ticino region of Switzerland. Spend you perfect day in Pallanza at the stunning Villa San Remigio or be whisked away to the unique Isola Pescatori (Fishermen’s Island), where you’ll find relaxed spots with old Mediterranean charm.

Lake Garda

Ceremony

There are a variety of dream locations on the Lake, from Castles, to Lemon Groves, to pretty town halls; you just need to pick which one sends your heart a-flutter the most. • Intimate Torri del Benaco Castle Tower, in the south of Lake Garda • Al fresco lemon groves, within Torri castle grounds • Stunning Malcesine Castle, perched on a headland in the north of the lake • Pretty Garda Town Hall, just off the main piazza overlooking the lakefront Reception

After your ceremony there’ll be opportunities to wander through the cobbled streets for some timeless photographs, or take to the water with your wedding party for a celebratory lake cruise in the summer sunshine. Enjoy a Prosecco on the terrace of your reception venue before sitting down to your wedding breakfast.

A five minute walk from the centre of Malcesine, this Michelin starred restaurant has an intimate indoor room and an al fresco covered terrace with lake views. Suitable for parties of 30-70 people. Tables can be reserved for smaller groups too.

Du Park, Garda

Ristorante Del Porto, Torri del Benaco

Just a few metres from the castle, this top-end restaurant is located on the lake side at Torri del Benaco; so close to the lake, in fact, you can arrive by boat. There’s outdoor seating for up to 50 people on the terrace that lies over the water, and a piano bar with comfy seating for you and your guests to enjoy after your meal.

Situated in a magnificent bay, just minutes from the centre of Garda, this renovated 18th century villa sits within beautiful gardens right on the lake front. You can even arrive by boat to the jetty at the end of the garden. The fabulous terrace is perfect for a romantic dinner or there are two indoor rooms suitable for up to 90 people. Hotel Casa Barca | Malcesine cccc Finest Set in a secluded location on the hillside overlooking the lake, this 4 C hotel has a modern style and wonderful lake views from the outdoor pool and sun terrace. A wellness centre is also accessible, with sauna, whirlpool and Turkish bath. To completely unwind during your special holiday, massages can also be arranged. Hotel La Perla | Garda ccc Close to the centre of bustling Garda and eight minutes walk to the lakefront, Le Perla sits at the foot of the iconic ‘la Rocca’. With 148 rooms, there’s ample space for you to invite all your family and friends. There are plenty of facilities on site, including a beautiful outdoor pool area and whirlpool. Hotel Romeo | Torri del Benaco ccc This quiet hotel has been recently refurbished and is a three minute walk to the resort’s centre. There is an outdoor pool, garden and sun terrace, great for mid sized wedding parties wanting a more intimate property.

Lake Como

Villa Cipressi A cluster of historic buildings with wonderful photo spots in the century-old park. Visit the botanic gardens with tiered terraces to the lake, and rare plants creating a heaven of tranquility. The Villa also offers the excellent and rare opportunity to have the civil ceremony and reception at the same location. For weddings at the Villa you can stay at any one of our accommodation on Lake Como and enjoy a romantic ferry boat ride back to your hotel. Bellagio Town Hall Only two minutes from the lake front where you can hold your nuptials in the dedicated ceremony room or on the terrace. Then select from many traditional, hotel or lakeside restaurants for your reception celebrations. We feature a range of hotels in Bellagio, all of which are in a convenient location following celebrations in the town.

Lake Maggiore

Isola dei Pescatori Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’s island) is located between Baveno and Stresa and is one of the Borromean Islands. Make your way to the pretty island by ferry from Stresa, Baveno and Verbania. You and your guests can stay in any of our Stresa or Baverno hotels.

Villa San Remigio,

Pallanza

Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the Villa owes its existence to Marquis Silvio della Valle di Casanova, a Neapolitan poet and musician, and his wife, the Irish painter Sophia Browne. The two lovers were determined to create their “dream garden” at the villa and you can follow in their footsteps with a romantic ceremony, wonderful views over the Lake and walks in the extensive grounds.
