Since the early '80s, Harald Seiz trained and worked as an independent financial services provider with a number of companies, where he was very successful. During the mid-90s he reached 60 million in personal sales volume. In 2008, he joined a precious metals company and within just seven months Harald Seiz was the top salespersons for the company. Fortunately for thousands, his visions were larger than those of the company, which was only active in Germany. He wanted to create gold in small units available for everyone, worldwide. In 2011, Harald Seiz founded Karatbars International GmbH. The company specializes in the sale of small, currency-sized 1, 2.5 and 5 gram gold bullion bars. In addition to the standard gold cards, specialty cards serve as wonderful gifts. Companies are printing their own cards and using them as rewards and incentives for their employees.

Why is this important ????

London Bullion Market Association The LBMA benchmarks and regulates the acceptable requirements for gold and silver bars through its regularly updated publication of the London Good Delivery Lists. These standards, recognized throughout the world, ensure that accredited refiners continue to maintain the high standards necessary for listing.

Governance The governance of the market is maintained through the London Bullion Market Association’s (LBMA) publication of the Good Delivery List. This is the list of accredited refiners, whose standards of production and assaying meet the requirements set out in the LBMA’s Rules. Only bullion conforming to these standards is acceptable in settlement against transactions conducted between participants in the bullion market.

There are literally thousands of refineries around the world but only a select few have been selected to be listed with the LBMA list of accredited refiners. The current number of LBMA accredited refiners is slightly over 55 at the time of this presentation.
