WELCOME AND MAP Hello and welcome to the 23rd Hebden Bridge Arts Festival, where the mills are ALIVE with the sounds of ‘Trouser Town’! In its heyday, Hebden Bridge made thousands of pairs of trousers a week for the industrial working classes, and 2016 sees the last surviving trouser factory back in production, making modern moleskins for the brand new HebTroCo! On the festival production line this year: folk goddess Kate Rusby brings her magic to the newly refurbed Art Deco Picture House, you can take a No.9 bus to Utopia, hear Simon Armitage’s poems about rain, enjoy summer grooves with St Etienne, talk Charlotte Brontë

with Tracy Chevalier and Salley Vickers, check out Craig Charles’ funky sounds, download a Yorkshire postman’s Recorded Delivery plus two packed street days filled with fun and spectacle! Hebden Bridge Arts Festival is a charity and without the generous support of our funders, sponsors, partners and volunteers, simply couldn’t continue. Bring your friends and families and join us for the greatest show in town, and keep an eye out for our limited edition festival banner bags and rings!
