Ageing Well Charter •

We will celebrate and champion the contribution of older people in our neighbourhoods. We will provide opportunities for older people to get involved through volunteering and activities. These opportunities will support and share the expertise of our older people and broker the exchange of skills across the age groups. We will work with our partners in health and social care to provide the most up to date opportunities for advice, information and services that will result in the improved health and wellbeing of older people. We will develop new initiatives to address specific issues including dementia, diet and mobility. We will continue to improve homes so that they are fit for ageing.
