BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Stepping On Instructor: Deb Bolding, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA STEPPING ON is an evidence-based program for older adults at risk for falls. Participants will learn balance and strength exercises, the role of vision in balance, how medications can contribute to falls, how to stay safe when out in the community, what to look for in footwear, and how to check your home for safety. Guest speakers will include a physical therapist, pharmacist, and vision specialist. After the class, the occupational therapist will offer a home visit. Shown to decrease falls by 31%. Beginning Gmail – Leading Email Innovation Instructors: Larry Weber & Mark Alguard Platform: PC and Mac (no mobile devices) Gmail is one of the leading email services with excellent spam protection and security. This workshop is for those with no or little experience using email or Gmail. Students who do not have a Gmail account should come to class 30 minutes early at 1:30pm. Students with a Gmail account should bring their account name and password to class. Students may use either their laptops or the lab computers.
