The School of Continuing and Professional Education, City University of Hong Kong (CityU SCOPE) is launching a Continuing and Professional Development (CPD) course in Accounting and Finance, “Updates on Financial Reporting Standards”. This course aims to provide accounting and finance professionals with up-to-date knowledge and competencies required for long-term career development, in addition to fulfilling their CPD or other professional requirement.

It is designed to update participants the latest developments in Hong

Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRSs).

The speaker will explain the requirements of recently

issued or amended HKFRSs; discuss specific areas in financial reporting known to be problematic in practice; and explore the financial reporting implications of the new Companies Ordinance.

Speaker:

Mr. Paul M.Y. YEUNG CPA, MA(Lancaster), MA(CUHK) An experienced writer, consultant and lecturer in financial reporting, auditing and business ethics.
