Uniforms and Dress Code 2016 – 2017 Uniforms are available at C&J School Uniform (51st and Memorial, Fontana Shopping Center, 918.610.7470), K. Renee’s Uniform Closet (5625 E. 41St, Highland Plaza Shopping Center, 918.627.3341), Lands’ End (Preferred School # 900044306). Uniforms may also be purchased from, Academy Sports, Old Navy, Target, resale stores, department stores, etc. GUIDELINES FOR ALL STUDENTS: Students are required to wear a clean, neat school uniform on a daily basis. Clothes should be pressed and wrinkle-free. We encourage parents to support the uniform policy. If you have questions, please call your school office or e-mail your principal prior to purchasing items. The administration and teachers will remind students when they are out of uniform. After a reminder, students will be given a written notice that will specify the noncompliance. The administration reserves the right to determine appropriate dress. We encourage conservative and child-appropriate dress and hairstyles. Clothes should not be ripped, torn or frayed. Shirts must be tucked from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Hair should be clean, combed and student’s natural color. No unnatural colors. Boys: Eyes must be visible. Non-traditional hairstyles are not allowed (braiding, spiked, etc.). In MS, hair should be neatly groomed, off the collar, above the eyebrows and not below mid-ear. Hair must be of natural hair colors only and not streaked. No hair dye or bleaching. No faux-hawk, Mohawk or other nonconservative haircuts are permitted. Girls: Necklaces should be simple. Large choker necklaces are not allowed. In ECLC, dangling earrings are not safe on our playground and are not allowed. Dangling earrings and bracelets that can be distracting are not allowed in ES. No makeup in ECLC or ES. No feathers or beads in hair. ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES FOR MS STUDENTS: Hats and sunglasses are not permitted. No writing on arms or other parts of the body. No tattoos or body piercing. Girls: No excessive or tattoo-like jewelry. Earrings may not exceed one inch in length. Light – Neutral makeup may be worn by 7th and 8th graders. Eye liner is not permitted in any grade. Boys: No earrings, heavy chain necklaces, excessive or tattoo-like jewelry. No facial hair. No sideburns past earlobe. SPIRIT DAY DRESS FOR ALL STUDENTS Students may wear only Monte Cassino t-shirt, sweatshirt, jersey, uniform top, etc., along with nice jeans, uniform pants or uniform shorts. No flip-flops or sandals. FREE DRESS FOR ALL STUDENTS Students may wear casual clothes which are still school appropriate. No spaghetti straps or other revealing shirts. No short shorts or leggings in MS.

Shorts or bike shorts under jumpers. Skorts: Navy pleated skorts or skirts with built-in shorts. Pants: Plain, straight navy pants. No ornamentation, drawstrings, cargos, large outside pockets. Students may wear pants with elastic waistband. If the pants have belt loops, a belt must be worn. Shorts: Plain, straight, knee length navy shorts may be worn through November 1 and after Spring Break. No ornamentation, drawstrings, cargos, large outside pockets. Students may wear shorts with elastic waistband. If the shorts have belt loops, a belt must be worn. Socks: White, or navy socks. Socks must come above the ankle. No patterns or colored markings are permitted i.e. Nike logo or Elite socks other than those with MCS logo. White, black or navy tights or leggings may be worn with jumpers. Shoes: Tennis or dress shoes with no lights, distracting characters (i.e. SpongeBob). No boots, sandals or flip-flops. Shoes must be closed-toe and closed-back. Appropriate shoes may be worn in inclement weather. Hair: Bows and headbands must be small and simplistic.
