The result, in the case of a frontal impact of the vehicle, is a drastic decrease of the accelerations (and therefore of the forces) to which is subjected the baby and a reduction of its forward displacement. To ensure a high level of comfort, especially over long distances, the seats are equipped with Kiwy Self-Adaptive Seat, which includes “memory foam” material padding of the seat, ensuring a uniform distribution of pressure on the baby’s body, and eco-textiles “3D” cover with excellent breathing and thermos-regulating properties. A set of choices targeted to ensure a higher level of comfort and less fatigue for the baby.

The Kiwy Group 0 + / 1 seats are designed to carry, in the opposite direction to the direction of travel, children up to 13 kg (approximately 18-24 months) and, in the direction of travel, from 9 to 18 kg (from approximately 9 months to 4 years). Kiwy has conceived the group 0 + / 1/2 seats to transport children from birth to 25 kg (about seven years of age). Installation is made in rear facing direction for children up to 18 kg, and in front facing direction for children from 9 to 25 kg. This seat can be very easily transformed from Group 1 to Group 2, using the concealed compartments in which the buckle and the harness belts can be kept, without removing any parts. Kiwy ha pensato i seggiolini del gruppo 0+/1/2 per il trasporto di bambini dalla nascita fino a 25 kg ( circa sette anni di età). Si installa in senso contrario a quello di marcia per bambini fino a 18 kg , e nel senso di marcia per i bambini da 9 a 25 kg. In questo seggiolino risulta particolarmente agevole la trasformazione da Gruppo 1 a Gruppo 2, grazie agli appositi vani a scomparsa in cui si ripongono la fibbia e le cinture proprie, senza dover smontare alcun componente.

Der Einbau erfolgt rückwärts gerichtet (Reboard) für Kinder bis ca. 18 kg. Vorwärtsgerichtet kann man den kiwy Kinderautositz für Kinder von 9 bis 25 kg benutzen. Dieser Sitz kann sehr einfach von Gruppe 1 nach 2 umgebaut werden. Gurtschloss und H-Gurt werden in einem separaten Fach im Sitz untergebracht. Ein Ausbau weiterer Elemente ist nicht notwendig.
