Playing the simulation online Before you start Before starting the simulation, you should do the following: 1. Restart your computer. 2. Verify that your computer is connected to power and is online. 3. If you are using a laptop to play, we recommend connecting an external mouse. 4. We recommend turning the sound on before playing. 5. Shut down all other programs. Logging in To log in, go to https://eks.avinor.no/no/ks/t2, and log in using the ID-portal. There are several options to identify yourself, log in using one of these:

You can now access your personal T2 course page. Here you will find an overview of all the courses you are required to complete. Press «START» when you are ready to start a simulation.

Installing Unity Web Player To start the simulations in your browser, it is required to install the Unity Web player. You only need to do this once per computer. An icon will appear mid-screen. Click «Install now».

Then click «Run» and/or «Kjør».

NB!! Steps to install may differ between various browsers. The steps above are written for Internet Explorer. Playing the simulation When Unity Web Player has finished installing, this icon will appear on your screen:

This indicates that Unity Web Player is running. The simulation loading screen will follow shortly. In the bottom right corner you’ll be able to see the progress in percentage:

The simulation will load faster if you have previously downloaded the simulation on your current computer and user. The progressbar will be replaced by a Start-button when it has finished loading. When you are ready to play the simulation, press «START».

You will now be asked whether you want to run the simulation in fullscreen mode. We recommend selecting «Ja» for the optimal experience.

The simulation will now launch. You can select language (Norwegian or English) before continuing to the scenario selection.

After selecting desired language, the welcome screen opens. You can select a scenario from this view.

You will receive instructions on navigation and functionality once you start a scenario. Once you’ve played through all four scenarios, you will be presented with a summary screen. The summary will display the status of the scenarios, your scores and you can choose whether you want to quit or play any scenario again.

Requirements for passing In this simulation you have to correctly handle all deviations to pass the course. If you have completed all four scenarios, you have successfully passed the course as you will have to start a scenario over if the deviation at hand is not handled properly. Overview of completed courses As you complete the courses, these will be marked green in the list of courses you are enrolled. To achieve completed-status in Bridge training, you must pass all four scenarios in the simulation.

Frequently Asked Questions 1. I can not see the «START»-button when the game has finished loading. a. If you have chosen to start in full-screen mode, you may have pressed the «ESC»button along the way. If you do not see the start-button, you may have a screen resolution which causes the button to «disappear» off the screen. The browser window or tab must be closed, and the simulation must be started in a new window in full-screen mode. 2. I press «START», but nothing happens / my screen goes white. What to do? a. The antivirus program is blocking the installation of Unity Web Player. You must allow popups from attensi.com / Unity Web Player. This is usually solved by clicking on the warning that appears in or near the address bar of your browser and selecting Allow.

b. Internet Explorer ActiveX is blocking the installation of Unity Web Player. You must disable ”ActiveX filtering”. Available under Tools / Tools – Security in Internet Explorer. c. Safari is blocking the installation of Unity Web Player. i. Select Safari > Preferences … ii. Use the following options to specify how you want Safari to handle a particular web plugin when a website is visited: 1. Select the Security-panel. 2. Click Plug-in Settings... in Internet plug-ins to view details about the plugin for a particular site. 3. Internet plug-ins installed on your computer are displayed on the left of the plug-ins sheet. Unity should be listed here, highlight it. 4. Websites that are currently open in Safari, will appear right in the plug-ins sheet. Sites you’ve already configured by clicking Accept or Cancel is also shown here. Mark play.attensi.com and select Allow Always – Safari will always load and display such content without asking in the future. iii. Select an option from the menu ”When visiting other websites” to specify how the plugin should behave when you open a web page on a website that is not already on the list. 3. The simulation starts, but the screen is white or pink a. Your drivers have probably not been updated to the lastest version. If you are using a private computer, you must install drivers. Search Google for "drivers". There are a number of sites that can automatically check this and install the correct drivers for you. If you are using a work computer, contact your IT department for help to solve this problem. 4. Can I run the simulation on a tablet? a. No, this simulation is only available for PC and Mac. 5. I get the following error message: “Unity Web Player requires DX9 level graphics card. Make sure you have graphics cards driver installed.”

a. The computer you are using does not have a graphics card that satisfy the requirements of the simulation, or the machine lacks updated drivers. You need to upgrade your computer – or run the simulation on an alternate device. This message may also appear for users logged in via Citrix. Log out, and try again.

6. There’s an error message about Google Chrome not being able to run the app a. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Opera no longer supports plugins such as Unity Web Player. We recommend that you use Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari to play the simulation, or download the app for tablets when available.
