Registration It is possible to register for access to Energia Online via the Energia homepage or type https://energyonline.energia.ie/ into your address bar.

Complete the relevant fields for registration; Email, Name, Account ID, Bill Number, Bill Due Date, Contact Number. Once all fields are filled in select ‘Register’. This will send your information to Energia and you will receive an e-mail with your temporary password.

Login Test Account

Login using your email address and the temporary password, which you will have received after registering.

Once you have logged in you are required to enter in a search term, you can search by: • Account ID. • MPRN.

Change Password Test Account

Once you have logged in initially it is possible to change your password; this can be done by selecting the arrow beside your e-mail address on the top right of the screen, and selecting ‘Change Password’ from the dropdown menu.

You will be prompted to enter your old password and then your new password twice, you can then use your newly created password to login in the future.

Energia Plus Energia Plus customer you will have the following options available on the homepage; • View Bill. • Meter Readings. • View Usage.

View Bill Selecting “View Bill” will provide an overview of all bills for your account; you can also download your bills in Excel or PDF formats. Clicking the “Filter” button allows you to view bills by date range and it stores bills up to 3 years provided you were an Energia customer for that time Test Account

View Bill An alert box will be displayed if you choose to download either the PDF or Excel format.

Selecting “OK” will automatically download the bill.

View Bill If you need to quickly check your bill amount and payment options without downloading simply click “View Summary”. This will display your Account ID, Account Name, MPRN/GPRN, Site Address, Payment Amount, Payment Date and Payment Source.

Meter Readings Meter Readings will enable you to view and submit Meter Reads for a particular MPRN/GPRN. Click/Double click on the box and this will display all the MPRNs/GPRNs associated with that account. Select the relevant one and click View to see what types of meter readings have been submitted and when or Submit to submit a new reading. Test Account

View Meter Reads To view all Meter Reads, enter your MPRN/GPRN. this will provide you with an overview of the Meter Read information.

Submit a Meter Read To submit a Meter Read, enter the MPRN/GPRN and select ‘Submit’, You will be provided with an overview of the Meter Serial Number, Meter Read Sequence, Timeslot and enable you to enter your Meter Read.

View Usage View Usage will enable you to display consumption between a date range on screen or export to CSV.

The consumption will be displayed on screen showing a monthly basis and include the Rates Schedule, Day Units and Total Units. Test Account

To display the usage on screen, you must enter the Consumption Start Month, Consumption End Month, select ‘Display on Screen’ and select ‘Display’.

Export Usage to CSV To export the usage, you must enter the Consumption Start Month, Consumption End Month, select ‘Export to CSV’ and click Export. Test Account

The consumption will be displayed in a CSV file showing the Account, Account Name, Site Address, MPRN or GPRN, Consumption Month, Rates Schedule, Day Units and Total Units.

This area shows the account that you are looking at. If you click on the drop down menu beside either Account ID or Account Name, you can switch between accounts. 2. Current Balance This shows your current balance with outstanding debt broken down by number of days.

3.Last Regular/Customer Read* This gives an overview of sites where we have received a meter read - either from you or networks. It is colour codes: Green - last 6 months Yellow - last 6 - 12 months Red - over 12 months We recommend that meter readings are provided frequently so that we can improve the accuracy of your bill. If you have an online meter your meter is read automatically and therefore will always be up to date. *This section may not be visible to your account type.

Dashboard 4. Energy Consumption 4

This screen highlights energy used over the last rolling 12 months and provides a comparison versus the previous 12 months, if you were an Energia customer. It also indicates the % of increase or decrease in consumption between the two comparative periods. The graph shows basic trends. 5

5. Expenditure excluding VAT This indicates the total expenditure ex VAT for the last 12 months, plus the same data for the previous 12 months, and the % increase or decrease between the two periods. A graph shows basic trends.

Expenditure Tab Choose a report Various standard reports can be selected from this area.

In the Expenditure tab there are 4 categories of reports available. These appear as buttons on the screen. You can click on any one to show your data. 4

Any report you view can be exported to excel or print the report by using the buttons at the top right. 1. Detailed Report Drills into the information by MRPN for the period selected. 2. Summary Report Totals days billed consumption, average consumption per day, expenditure (excluding and including VAT) and average unit price.

Energy Trends Tab Report Area

Test Account

The Trends tab will show you how your consumption, expenditure and usage profile have changed over a selected period. Particularly useful for year to year, or even month to month comparisons. This tab shows reports in chart form, so if you find it easier to view graphical trends rather than raw data. Why you may want to use it:

• To view trends in consumption by tariff. • To see year by year expenditure trends. • To compare your consumption trends with your expenditure trends. • Extract any report into Excel for your own records

Energy Consumption Tab The Consumption tab allows you to view your usage over a period of time. Why you may want to use it: Test Account

Meter Read Tab The Meter Read tab shows when individual sites have had customer/network reads . These are colour-coded for ease of reference:

To manage sites that have not had a customer or network read in over 6 months. Reads can be taken and can be added online in order to increase the accuracy of your bill. 1. Meter Read Summary Outlines the last actual read, the last customer read and days since the last actual read. This information can also be viewed by site address. 2. Meter Read Detailed Report Provides meter serial number, type of meter, the read date and value of meter read. 3. Last Regular / Customer Read Heat Map Colour-coded map to advise customers of last actual reads at a quick glance. By hovering over each square, you will see MPRN, consumption amount and the amount of days since last actual read. The size of the box represents the consumption for that meter as a proportion of your overall usage i.e. the bigger the box the more consumption used relative to your other meters/sites.

Bill Tab What this tab shows you: This will show your information for any bill produced while you are an Energia customer for the past 3 years. Test Account

Why you may want to use it: • To view your billed data for the current month. • To access billed data for any business reason, including VAT amounts, charges etc. • To extract the billed data into excel for your records.

How To Tab The How To Tab gives you some basic assistance on how to select data you wish to view and carry out basic navigation. If you have more detailed queries, this manual should cover the rest of what you will need. Of course if you get stuck or our documentation does not answer your needs you can call our Key Account Managers who are your Energia Online Premium support. Bookmarks Bookmarks are a very handy tool in Energia online premium - they allow you to save your selections that you view on a regular basis. You can use this for a group of sites or for specific frequently used reports.

A government levied charge passed on by suppliers to customers. Term used to describe the loss of power in an electrical system arising from the production of electric and magnetic fields and is expressed as kVArh. Also called Actual Read. A read taken by a networks meter reader. Charge for amount of maximum import capacity. Networks charges for connection to the grid/network. Describes meter or billed unit consumption and is measured in kWh (kilowatt hours) Electricity supply to a point without a meter. Generally refers to public lighting.
