My dear friends,

Years ago in a book entitle Markings by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, I came across a quote that has been a mantra of sorts in my life

As we begin this year 2017 ~ we approach it with many different feelings in our hearts and minds. For some there is pain and sadness that we carry from the previous year, for others we walk into this year filled with expectation. But no matter what our point of view on the year might be, we challenge one another to make the world a better place to live. Our Holy Father Francis calls us all to be messengers of peace to one another and to our world. As we look at the landscape of our world we cannot help but realize that if we don’t face some changes in life, we’ll be rushing headlong into unbelievable chaos and catastrophe. Our world needs a new face that puts aside the things that separate us and embraces that which will bring us closer to our Creator and the reason that God created us. Who of us can’t believe how far we tend to wander from the person God created us to be “in God’s image and likeness.” Today as we begin a New Year let us be new creations anxious to be people of peace and love in our world and anxious to transform the world by all we say and do. May the prayers in our hearts cross boundaries that separate us and once, again join forces to create in this world the LOVE that God so wanted us to enjoy when he gave us unbounded freedom and unlimited creativity. Our world can be all we hope for when we all join hands and hearts together. With you I pray for our blessed world as we ask blessing on the days to come. God Love You,

Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Choir of Angels, Shepherds, Wise Men, Cows and Sheep All gathered to make our Annual Christmas Pageant a beautiful reminder of the Glory of Christmas!
