Innovative irrigation technologies Made in Germany The irrigation systems Dripitex®-Mat and Dripitex®-Line were developed with the purpose of providing the global market with an efficient irrigation system on a textile basis. Lack of water is one of the most pressing environmental and development problems worldwide, today and in the future. Out of all industries, agriculture as well as landscaping like private gardens and public parks are the largest water consumers: 80 % of the water consumption can be traced back to artificial irrigation. A number of irrigation systems on the market function well. However, they supply valuable »water« to the vegetation with various degrees of efficiency. The efficiency of many irrigation systems lies under 30 percent. Especially in arid and semi-arid climates, where agriculture and landscape areas are depending on artificial irrigation, there are a number of obsolete, defective and inefficient systems. Dripitex®-Mat and Dripitex®-Line provide a valuable contribution for the climate change and environmental protection. Dripitex® irrigation systems have been successfully installed in many countries. Compared to conventional sprinkler systems, they deliver excellent and sustainable irrigation results and save up to 70 percent water.

Dripitex®-Mat irrigation mats
The concept is simple: PE pipes with integrated drip emitters are wrapped with a special fleece material and integrated between two other layers of fleece material. Our drip pipes are pressure-compensated and h ave a drip protection (check value). All drip emitters give continuously the same amount of water, and thus, e fficient irrigation is possible in very short intervals. The Dripitex®-Mat provides consistent humidity without losses through evaporation. The drip pipes distribute and fill the irrigation mat with water. The actual irrigation t akes place via the wicking structure of the special fleece fabric and the associated capillary effect, which s upplies the water directly to the roots. Based on that, the Dripitex® watering mat is perfect for planting in arid and semi-arid areas. The internationally patented Dripitex®-Mat is a significant technical irrigation innovation.

Dripitex®-Line drip pipes
Dripitex®-Line is not only a part of the Dripitex®-Mat but also the perfect choice for the subirrigation of ground cover, dense plantings, hedgerows and scrubs. PE pipes with integrated drip emitters are wrapped with a special fleece fabric. The wrapping protects the pipe against root intrusion and guarantees an equal distribution of water in the root zone. Our drip pipes are pressure-compensated and have a drip protection (check value). All drip emitters give continuously the same amount of water, and thus, efficient irrigation is possible in very short intervals. The s ystem offers high flexibility and buckling strength due to material and construction.
