  Ma rk oversees the Baer Wealth Management Group’s asset allocation and investment selection process. As Portfolio Manager, Mark has primary responsibility for bond, stock and option strategies in our client’s discretionary accounts. A graduate from The Ohio State University, Mark joined PaineWebber (later becoming UBS) in 1983, and cofounded the Baer Wealth Management Group. Mark made the decision to join Morgan Stanley in 2012. Mark currently holds FINRA Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses as well as Life and Health, Long Term Care, Variable Annuity and Variable Life licenses. Mark has served as a community volunteer and officer, including the boards and committees of American Red Cross, Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank, Akron Jaycees, The Lippman School, Temple Israel, Jewish Community Board of Akron, Shaw JCC of Akron, Akron Marathon and Rosemont Country Club. Mark resides in Akron with his wife, Cathy.

  Ken drives the team’s group retirement practice and oversees our wealth advisory process. He also has primary responsibility for pooled investment strategies in client’s discretionary accounts. A 1983 graduate of the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver, Ken joined PaineWebber (later becoming UBS) in 1996, and co-founded the Baer Wealth Management Group. Ken currently holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses as well as Life and Health, Long Term Care, Variable Annuity and Variable Life licenses. He has also earned the Chartered Retirement Specialist℠ designation. Ken has served as a community volunteer and officer, including the boards and committees of Temple Beth Torah, Huntington Arts Council, Crones and Colitis Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy Association, United States Golf Association and PGA Tour. Ken resides in Dix Hills, New York with his wife, Robin.

  Mike joined Baer Wealth Management Group in 2007 with an emphasis for business development and client relationships for individual clients and business retirement plans. Utilizing his previous business and finance experience, he helps to prepare clients for retirement. Mike earned a B.A. and M.S. degree in chemistry from Southern Connecticut as well as an MBA from the University of Connecticut. Mike currently holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as Life and Health, Long Term Care, Variable Annuity and Variable Life insurance licenses. Mike and his wife, Teri, reside in Akron and have two adult children and a grandson. He is a golfer and runner and participates on several nonprofit community boards and organizations.
