Barnsley Resort provides the perfect balance of serenity and service, preserving the natural of the surrounding area while providing state-of-the-art facilities. Barnsley Resort offers a variety of programs designed to enhance any traveler ’s stay. Eighteen holes of golf on the Fazio-designed course, a boutique Spa, SpringBank Sporting Club, garden tours and other on-site activities have been created for individuals and groups to experience the resort’s natural surroundings. All activities will require a Release of Liability Waiver signed by guests prior to taking place in the activity of choice. All of our programs are designed to fit the needs of your group. Please contact your Conference Services Manager to customize your particular program, price structure and food and beverage requirements for each activity.

Lawn Party | $42 per person There is no better way to kick off your event than a lawn game cocktail party featuring games such as croquet, bocce ball, lawn darts, horseshoes, bean-bag toss and more. Includes 2 hours of "Barnsley Select" bar service. Wii Blast Off | $42 per person A high energy way to start your event, this activity pairs a welcome reception with a Wii tournament featuring games such as Wii play, boogie dance, and sports trials! Includes 2 hours of "Barnsley Select" bar service. Chips, Anyone? | $40 per person Classic games are available for late night gatherings or rainy days, plus they are great with evening cocktails or dessert and coffee. Poker, Scrabble, Monopoly, Yahtzee and classic checkers are just a few of the games we can organize for your event. Includes 2 hours of "Barnsley Select" bar service.

Game Show Showdown | Pricing varies by game Encourage your attendees to put their heads together for a friendly competition inspired by classic game shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Jeopardy and more. Survey says this option is certain to kick off any event in a lively way. Games are presented complete with host, theme music, sound effects and other materials to bring the show to life. Allow 30 to 90 minutes per game.

ACTIVITY BREAKS Drive Time Break | $35 per person Take a quick trip to the driving range to hit a few balls and release some steam. While there, enjoy a golfer’s snack menu including mini chicken quesadillas, franks-in-a-blanket, potato chips with onion dip and shelled stadium peanuts with assorted soft drinks and water. Minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 12 guests. Event space rental fees may apply. Pricing based on 1 hour service time.

FOOD & BEVERAGE ACTIVITIES Sushi Chef Challenge | $125 per person This highly interactive hands-on activity involves our expert chefs for guidance and final judging. Our version of a Food Network-inspired challenge, this activity features a demonstration class followed by a culinary competition requiring teamwork and creativity. Each team will prepare five different types of sushi. The best part? Getting to enjoy the fruits of your labor! Minimum of 12 people and maximum of 30 people. Allow 2 ½ hours for this activity.

FOOD & BEVERAGE ACTIVITIES Burger Challenge | $55 per person Individuals or teams face off for best burger bragging rights! Each competitor or team will receive a mystery box containing two to three types of meat, seasonings and other undisclosed items. From there, it’s up to the team to produce a creative burger using all of the ingredients in the box. Each team will prepare three burgers for display and one for tasting by the judges. There will be a general store of kitchen products that will be open to competitors to use in creating their burgers and toppings. Each team has 15 minutes to write their recipe. Then, one hour is allowed to prepare and cook burgers on the grills provided. Judging will take 15-30 minutes for judging. Burgers are judged on creativity, flavor, timing and tidiness of that station. Minimum of 8 people and maximum of 20 people. Allow one hour for this activity. Steak Challenge | $125 per person Group will break into teams; each team will have a prep table with bowls of items including assorted herbs and spices, gourmet cheese, traditional sauces such as Hollandaise or international options like sriracha and chimichurri, ground coffee and more. Our culinary team will spend about 10 minutes explaining the rules at the beginning of the challenge. Then, each team has just 10 minutes to discuss seasonings and strategy. Next, the two teams will sprint to a table to select their perfect cut from a rib eye, filet or strip steak. Grills are provided for cooking with 30 minutes allowed to prepare and cook steak for judging. Steaks will be judged on execution, flavor, creativity and aroma. Competition followed by steak dinner complete with side dishes and dessert. Minimum of 8 people and maximum of 20 people. Allow one hour for this activity, followed by dinner.

FOOD & BEVERAGE ACTIVITIES Cooking Demonstration & Tasting | $100 per person This demonstration class is a fantastic opportunity for budding chefs and foodies. During the class, our chef will demonstrate preparation of dishes and knife cuts, while discussing proper selection of ingredients. The “classroom” is set up so that all guests have easy access to the demonstration station and to the chef. Each guest will go home with the recipes from `class as well as additional information about the techniques and preparations used. Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 30 people. Allow 2 hours for this activity.

Ice Cream Sundae Competition | $50 per person This activity has the same concept as mixology class. Toppings including pecans, peanuts, M&M's, caramel, chocolate, strawberry syrups, granola, fresh fruit, candy bar chunks, coconut and more will be set as stations with brief instructions. The final masterpieces will be judged by the on-site attendant base on creativity, flavor, presentation and cleanliness of work station.

SHOOTING ACTIVITIES Basics with a Bang | $120 per person Fantastic for mixed ability groups, this shooting activity combines group and individual instruction (including 10 targets per person) with a half round of sporting clays (50 targets per person) on our beautifully designed Shooting Grounds. The session concludes with a Five Stand Flurry. Instruction includes shotgun safety, building proper stance, target focus, swing and follow through, all scaled to meet the needs of individual shooters within your group. Shooting on our sporting grounds provides an opportunity for each shooter to hone their individual skills in an environment that offers the thrill of actual game hunting. The Five Stand Flurry is fun and fast paced, providing a Big Bang ending to your program. This event can be combined with an outdoor cookout and bonfire for an unforgettable experience! Minimum of 12 shooters Includes gun rental and ammunition. Allow 3 hours for this activity.

Shotgun Start Guns and Golf | $100 per person Enjoy 50 targets (1/2 a round) at our beautiful Shooting Grounds and 9 holes of golf on our Fazio Course. Minimum of 8 shooters/players | Includes gun rental, ammunition and golf car fees | Allow 1-2 hours for shooting and 2-3 hours for golf 8

A C T I O N - PA C K E D A C T I V I T I E S Horse Sense | $125 per person As herd animals, horses are highly tuned in to one another and are masters of non-verbal communication. Because the survival of the herd requires horses to depend on one another, they intuitively recognize the leadership abilities of those around them. If you want a horse to follow you, you must demonstrate true leadership abilities! Through a series of team and individual challenges our facilitators and our horses will help your team develop precise, clear communication skills and respectful relationships as well as individual leadership abilities. These challenges are all either ground exercise or are led exercises and require no riding experience. Minimum of 9 people and maximum of 28 people Allow 2 hours for this activity.

Rodeo Roundup | $100 per person Our Barnsley Cowboys guide teams through a series of Western Themed Challenges such as roping competitions, horseshoe pitching, BB shooting, Archery, Rodeo Clown Relay, Blind Horse Lead obstacle course and more for a fun and exciting way to work and play together! Minimum of 8 people and maximum of 30 people | Allow 2-3 hours for this activity 10

A C T I O N - PA C K E D A C T I V I T I E S Paintball Posse | $60 per person This activity provides great opportunity to blow away the competition -figuratively speaking of course. We provide everything but the manpower as your group fires balls of paint at one another with Tippmann Paintball guns. The paintball “battlefield” is set up in the meadow & woods of Wolf Cave Mountain. The excitement generated from the activity is matched by none other. Minimum of 10 people and maximum of 30 people Allow 1-2 hours for this activity. Barnsley Olympics | $80 per person for up to 5 challenges Teams compete in a variety of fun and exciting challenges or adventures. Our referees tally scores for each team to determine the winner. Any Olympic “event” can also be done as an individual activity for your group. Olympic activities may include: Navaho Blanket Volleyball, Team Ski, Mountain Bike & Kayak Relays, Rodeo Games, Scavenger Hunts, Paintball Battle, BB Sharp Shooting, Archery Frisbee Golf, Lawn Games and More Minimum of 15 people and maximum of 80 people | Allotted time depends on the activity Search and Rescue | $150 per person This event offers your group their very own search and rescue scenario. First, teams will learn a number of skills necessary to complete their mission such as first aid training, compass bearing and use of GPS devices. Then they will have to plan and execute the rescue. The rescue mission will require each team to race from coordinate to coordinate while successfully completing a series of challenges. Teams will have to run, paddle and think together to accomplish their goal. The Search & Rescue scenario is a fast-paced and fun teambuilding event! Minimum of 8 people and maximum of 40 people | Allow 3 hours for this activity.

UNIQUE ADDITIONS We can turn just about any event into an experience by adding unique entertainment and dining. Some of our more popular additions follow. “Dive” In Theater Enjoy a late night swim with cocktails from our Tiki Bar. After dark, a movie of your choice will be projected on a large screen with full sound overlooking our outdoor resort pool complete with floats and lounge chairs. You can even add dinner prior to the movie. This movie experience is fun, easy-going and a great way to end an evening! Kid Corral Looking for a unique family activity during your event? Our Cowboys throw a horse party for your group that includes activities like horse finger painting (YES— you get to paint the horses!), horseshoe painting, corral rides, rodeo games and much more. Add a cookout and some square dancing for a true family hoedown. Serenity & Smoothies Start your day with an energizing yoga session in our tranquil gardens followed healthy breakfast and/or smoothies. 12

Gather around the fire and roast marshmallows, or fire some steaks on the grill while listening to our very own singing cowboy.



Turn your dinner into a Luau complete with leis and limbo, or create a Caribbean experience with island-inspired food and steel drums.



Add some suspense to your event by including a Murder Mystery Dinner theatre. Offerings have varying levels of interaction and different themes from which to choose.



Vegas Baby! Craps, poker and roulette can be added to create your own Casino Royale.



Take your dining experience from farm to table and enjoy a refreshing evening under the sky taking advantage of the resort’s outdoor spaces. Dine in the meadow, in or around the ruins or choose just about any location around the resort Village and Gardens! 13

S C AV E N G E R H U N T S ADVENTURE

The sky is the limit for this event. It can be a simple Scavenger Hunt that will send your group all throughout the Village and Gardens in search of treasures and trivia. Or, we add some adventure by having the team perform some skill challenges such as BB gun shooting, archery, team ski or more. Base Price- $20. Price depends on complexity of activity Kids Scavenger Hunt| $40 per child Kids enjoy a special hunt tailored to them including prizes.

Challenges to add to Scavenger Hunts | Additional $15 per person per challenge Each challenge will have a facilitator provided to give brief instruction and to keep score. Archery Target Shooting Points are given to team members who hit the yellow or the red of the target. Each team member gets 3 tries. BB Target Shooting Points are given to team members who hit the targets. Each team member gets 5 shots. Bike Obstacle Course Relay Points are given based on time in this event. Each team member must ride on a bike through a brief obstacle course made up of barrels and a wide see-saw, and return for the next team member to go. Disc Golf Toss Points are given to team members who are able to get the disc in the basket. Each team member gets 3 tries and each target is set for different distances: 1 for a driver toss, 1 for a mid-range toss and 1 for a putter toss. 14

Roping Points are given to team member who can successfully rope a fake steer head either around the neck, both horns, and/or one horn. Each member gets 3 tries. Bean Bag Toss Points are given to team members who can get the bag on the board or in the hole. Team members get 4 tries each. Cowboy Skis Points are based on time in this event. Three team members at a time stand on boards and walk together to the end and back. If there are more than 3 members to a team, it becomes a relay; the remaining team members will take the place of the first group and go. Boat Relay Points are given based on time in this event. Three team members to a boat. The team members at the front and rear of the boat will be blindfolded and given a paddle. The team member in the middle of the boat remains without a blindfold to instruct teammates how to paddle to the middle of the pond, around gator decors and back to the starting point. Life jackets are provided. Flipper Each person must place one pool “flipper” on their foot and attempt to “flip” a tortilla from the flipper onto a paper plate they are holding on their head. This is a point based event. Maze Craze This is a giant maze that is held by four team members on each corner. The team must get a golf ball from one side of the maze to the other by lifting and tilting the maze. This can be altered with a couple team members being blindfolded to make it more challenging. This is a total time event. Ping Pong | $150.00 set up fee per day Wii available with Wii Play $150.00 set up fee per day. Board Games | $50.00 set up fee for 4 games Twister, Scrabble, Monopoly, Sorry, Pictionary, Chutes and Ladders, Mad Gab, Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader? Team Sports | $250 set up fee Barnsley Resort offers the ideal environment for team sports. We can help you arrange any kind of game including volleyball matches, softball games, Tug-OWar, kick ball, water volleyball and more. Tell us what you are interested in playing and we’ll arrange all of the details. Lawn Game Challenge $45 set up fee for one game $150 set up fee for up to 5 games Have fun the old fashioned way! We will set up a series of lawn games for your group to enjoy which can include croquet, bocce ball, horseshoes, bean bag toss, ladder ball, lawn darts or badminton.

Life-Size Hungry Hippo | $80 per person Minimum of 12 and maximum of 32 Reconnect with a life-size version of a classic childhood game, Hungry Hippo. Instead of gathering around a game board, team participants work together to slide their chosen “hippo” into the center of the court to collect the most balls into their basket. Participants have different tasks for all levels of ability during a variety of games. Athletic or comfortable attire is recommended for this very active activity. This is an indoor event, great for an all-weather option. Space must be reserved. Additional Pricing for Scorekeeper/Referee

Links and Lures | $45 per person Minimum of 4 and maximum of 20 For the novice or pro, join our Golf Professional and Fly Fishing instructor to combine putting and casting to see who can get closest to the hole. During the game, you’ll learn how to cast a fly fishing reel while receiving putting tips from our resident pros. Disc Golf | $15 per person A different twist for your golf game, our “9-Hole” course winds through the village and into the gardens. Includes discs, map and scorecard

Minefield This is a giant cluster of items set up to be challenging to walk through. Team members must help each other make it through the mess without touching any items while blindfolded. This is a total time event. Giant Pong Players compete in a life-size game of pong. Twenty cans are divided and set up across from each other. Teams can play against each other in order to eliminate cans until they clear the other teams “board”. We can do a timed event to see how long it takes for a team to clear ten cans or we can do a point based system where teams get points for how many cans they make in a certain amount of time. 16

On the Hunt for Charity | $175 per person It’s a Scavenger Hunt for a cause! Teams will go on the hunt in search of tools and materials to build a bike or a wagon for a child in need. The bikes will be donated to a local charity or of the builder’s choice. Teams build the two or three wheel creation, then let the races commence! Minimum 10 people and maximum of 40 Allow 2-3 hours for this activity Amazing Race | $100 per person The Amazing Race, Barnsley Style! Teams will face both physical and mental challenges to finish the race. To accomplish their goal, they must stay together and work together. The challenges put before them can include shooting a bow and arrow, finding the right decoy, hiding something in one of our ponds or a surprise element with a personalized touch for your group. Minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 30 Allow 2 hours for this activity Additional pricing for customized events. Horticulture Class Create a dining table centerpiece, wreath or herb-inspired scented oils or infused vinegar. Hot Wheels | $150 per person Imagine driving through the finish line, tires smoking, checkered flag waving, you and your pit crew winning the racing cup. It can all happen here at Barnsley Resort! Teams will design, market and race their 2015 Racing edition PVC car. Using only the materials provided, teams must work together to build the ultimate racing machine and put it to the test. Have your pit crew ready! Minimum 15 people and maximum 40 Allow 4 hours for this activity Build a Boat Sink or Float | $150 per person All hands on deck! Teams work together to brainstorm, design, create and race their boat in the open waters of our resort pool! In this team building challenge, the team’s success depends on how well they work together to build a floating, race ready boat out of cardboard and other materials provided. Whether your objective is best Titanic performance or best design, the result is priceless. This activity encourages individuals to work cohesively with others, adapt to time constraints, work with limited materials and be innovative. The Art of Camouflage | $45 per person In this workshop we’ll take a humorous and honest look at how to make ourselves age gracefully with the help of Barnsley’s professional buyer and image consultant. Having been a consultant to some of American’s Top Retailers and Specialty Store Designers she shares her knowledge of how to cover up those pesky flaws with the use of the right colors and styles of clothing. With an emphasis on choosing the right accessories for your wardrobe this workshop can save you expensive wardrobe buying mistakes. What to do before buying glasses, which earring shape to choose and the most often asked questions about hair color are all covered in this session.
