4. Supporting the service • PHE and LGA peer review process for child obesity Bath and North East Somerset first local authority to test this approach, Peterborough and Blackpool follow in March. A number of local authorities have expressed an interest in participating later in 2014. • Maximising opportunities around the NCMP • Commission the Royal College of General Practitioners to develop elearning modules for health care professionals on obesity. • Working jointly with NHS England to review the obesity care pathway and provide clarity around Tier 3 services and support local authorities in the provision of weight management services.

5. Communications/social marketing • The Change4Life Smart Swaps campaign including TV, radio and online advertising went live on 2 January 2014.

• Change4Life physical activity campaign 2014 – at the early planning stage considering the performance and learning from the 2013 Get Going and Smart Restart campaigns and the ambitions and opportunities for summer 2014 and will include support to local authorities for local campaigning. • The first of 5 planned events to brief local areas on the Change4life School Sports Clubs and healthy lifestyles in Schools, has been held.
