SUMMER CALENDAR

To be admitted to SWTJC for the first time, prospective students must submit a completed application for admission, a high school transcript, G.E.D. scores or a college transcript. All of these requirements can be satisfied after registration except the application for admission, but students should begin the process early to get the earliest possible registration time. Returning students need only to complete a readmission form that consists of five simple questions: name, address, major, attendance at another college or university, and intention to register or not. First time entering students who have not passed a Texas Success Initiative (TSI) state-mandated exam (Accuplacer or THEA) are required to enter into a developmental program of study.

Important Student Information All returning students must be cleared with all departments (Business Office, Library, Financial Aid, Registrar and Bookstore) before registering.
