BINGO GOAL:
Students will use subject knowledge to successfully play the familiar game of Bingo.
SUPPLIES: BINGO card Chips 30 questions and answers
SET UP:
Each student is given a blank Bingo card. The center square is the FREE SPACE. Answers are then given to the students. Students cross off 6 answers and place the remaining 24 into the squares on the bingo cards.
RULES:
The questions are read and students cover the correct answer on their Bingo card. First student to get 5 in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins.
ALTERNATE IDEA: Use a search engine to find a website that will print Bingo Cards for FREE. Then create questions that correspond to the numbers on the bingo cards.

SUPPLIES: RACE TO THE TOP game sheet
RULES:
Given a game sheet, students will enter numbers on the base of the game sheet as instructed by the teacher. The teacher will give the students an operation to perform on the numbers in the two consecutive spaces. The answer is placed directly above the corresponding spaces. The first person to complete the entire pyramid and find the correct answer is the winner.
ALTERNATE IDEAS: Give the students 5 numbers in numeric order and have them place the numbers in the order they choose to find the HIGHEST SUM. Also, alternate sum and difference per row or even add multiplication. Remember, finding the product will take time and the answer will be large.

TOSS THE BOX GOAL:
Students will successfully answer questions using learned concepts, definitions, and concepts.
SUPPLIES: TOSS THE BOX question template 20 questions Tissue box Small zipper bags, (3inch square, or smaller, usually found at a Hobby and Crafts store) Glue or double sided tape
SET UP:
The teacher will attach the 6 small zipper bags using either a strong glue or tape. The cards are then cut from the template and trimmed to fit inside the zipper bags. Questions are placed on the cards in the corresponding spaces provided.
RULES:
The teacher begins by tossing the box to a student. The student will answer the question found under their left (or right) thumb. If the student answers the question correctly, they then toss the box to another student. This student answers a question. If the student answers the question incorrectly, they then answer another question on the same side of the box. Play continues until all questions have been answered or time runs out.
This is a great activity on the first day of school. Place questions on the cards that allow the teacher to get to know the student: your favorite team, your favorite subject, your favorite movie, song, book, your hero, etc. 5

DOMINOES GOAL:
Students will use expressions to correctly create a train of dominoes.
SUPPLIES: DOMINO cards
SET UP:
Create questions and place the answer on one domino and the question on the other. Be sure to NOT create 2 questions with the same answer.
RULES:
Students are divided into groups of 2 or 3 students. Each group is given a set of domino cards. Cards are divided among the students. The player with the START domino card begins the game. They play this domino card. The next person with the correct corresponding domino places it next to the START domino. Play continues until all dominoes have been played and the end domino is played. The team that can build the domino train quickest is the winner.

PUZZLE POWER GOAL:
Students will use expressions to work concepts within a group setting.
SUPPLIES: 28 questions (more or less) Card Stock in 2 colors Notebook paper, one sheet per group. SET UP:
Develop 7 (more or less) questions and write one on each sheet of card stock. Cut these sheets into 4 pieces, creating puzzle pieces. Then write the 7 answers on half sheets of the card stock. Be sure to include 2 or 3 wrong answers. On the back of the right answers, create 3 or 4 more questions. On the back of the wrong answers, but an X or put the word “WRONG”. Then using the second color of card stock, cut the card stock into 8 pieces and place the answers to the second set of questions on these pieces. Be sure again to include wrong answers.
RULES:
Students are given a BIG puzzle piece. When instructed, students get up and roam the room finding 3 other students with puzzle pieces that create a puzzle. Students then pair into a group of 4 and work the puzzle just created. As the students are working this puzzle, the teacher will display the answers on a shelf or the chalkboard for all to see. Instruct the students that the answers are given and to check their results with the board. After they have completed this puzzle, they will write the answer on their paper and then exchange the puzzle pieces with another group and work this puzzle. After all groups have exchanged puzzles and worked each one, 9
they will go find the answer to the current puzzle. On the back of this card are 3 or 4 more questions. The students work these as the teacher displays the answers to these questions on the board as in the previous questions. Time permitting, allow the students to exchange questions with another group. When class is almost over, have students turn in the sheets of paper with the answers. Remember, NOTHING TO CHECK. Students self-checked as they worked problems.

RULES:
5 KRYPTO cards are dealt to each student. One card is dealt to the teacher, who displays this card on the board. This is the target number. Students perform operations, including parenthesis, roots, and exponents to equal the target number. First student to achieve the target number wins.

RULES:

Students will roll dice and reach a specified goal number in the least number of rolls of a pair of dice.

RULES:
