Rhonda Denet, “TO ETTA WITH LOVE”

Celebrating the Music of Etta James Friday, February 19, 7 p.m. This year we celebrate Black History Month with a very special program from Rhonda Denet and her backing trio, entitled TO ETTA WITH LOVE: Celebrating the Music of Etta James. February 19 is a change from previously publicized date of February 5.

Tuesday, February 2 7 p.m. Kathleen Velsor, professor at SUNY Old Westbury and author of The Underground Railroad on Long Island: Friends in Freedom, will be here to discuss the journey of runaway slaves as well as the people who were associated with Long Island’s Underground Railroad and to take you on a virtual tour of the places and safe houses on Long Island.
