During the 2007‐2008 school year taught World Literature and led students to an average 26% gain in district benchmark scores. Also developed and taught Modern Poetry and Psychological Literature, two courses unique to Vashon High Led the 10th Grade Intervention Team in 2009‐2010, consisting of four teachers and two administrators in the goal of moving 10th grade students into the proficient range on the Communication Arts End of Course Exam. As a member of the AVID Site Team, planned, implemented, and evaluated a college preparatory program that targeted future first generation college students. In this role, taught 14 students for two years, focusing on organization, time management, study skills, and ACT preparation Founded and coached the Vashon High School Ultimate Frisbee team, head coach of the men’s soccer team for the 2009 season
