What is ShareMatch? Wherever we are and whatever we do, we need to work together for BP to be successful. Becoming a BP shareholder gives you a stake in the company and a perspective beyond your team and global business unit. Global ShareMatch (GSM) is a BP initiative to help employees become shareholders in the group. Its distinctive nature is that for every share you buy, BP matches your investment with another share.

Participant contacts Country Coordinator to request a Form of Direction to Sell Shares Participant completes form and sends to country coordinator to process Country Coordinator informs Computershare of sell request Computershare process sell instruction once a week Sale proceeds less charges are passed back to local Country Coordinator Country Coordinator sends sale proceeds to participant

Participant logs on to Computershare website Participant provides their bank account details and elects number of unrestricted shares to sell. Computershare provide participant with indicative trade values. Participant confirms they want to sell shares. Computershare process sell instruction. Participant receives sale proceeds less charges directly to the bank account they have provided.

To login to the website go to www.computershare.com\bpshareplans and enter your account number and PIN that have been sent to you.

To sell your shares please select the ‘My holdings/Join a Plan’ button

Your holdings will then display. Please select the plan that you wish to sell from before clicking the ‘Transact’ button.

You are then presented with the number of shares you hold in that plan that are available to sell. You can model a sale, which will give you an indication of the sale proceeds you might receive, or elect to actually sell shares.

Prior to completing your online sale request you will be presented with a figure estimating the value of your trade. To proceed with the trade please re-enter your PIN and click submit.

The below screen illustrates that your trade has been submitted. If you have provided your email address in your ‘My Profile’ section you should also receive an email.

We will send funds to your bank account using the details you have provided, 3 working days after the trade has completed. Please note it may take a little longer for your bank to credit these funds to your account.
